My experience is every 5-10 pounds I change the goal rate then change it back, and it updates/recalculates.

Have you considered ozempic or wegovy? I’d consider trying an injectable before trying surgical options if it was me. I am able to lose/maintain consistently using diet/exercise but my father cannot. He was over 100 pounds overweight and has lost 30 pounds over the last 3-4 months in a consistent way on ozempic. Just…

Frozen meal (Amy’s, Trader Joe’s Indian, Healthy Choice, Lean Cuisine) with a string cheese and some fruit.

You might want to consider a weight trending app (Happy Scale for iPhone, Libra for Android). I have weighed myself daily for years, I pay zero attention to the changes from day to day, but rather the trend. It will show you where you are losing/gaining/maintaining over a span of time.

OP, you don’t need to ELIMINATE alcohol, processed carbs, or liquids… you DO need to account for them and make choices. I make room in my diet to allow for some of these things, and I’ve been in maintenance or minor fluctuations for years (except for a post-surgical period that I have since lost). Weigh or measure…

Yes, there is a thread in the support forum where myself and someone else had this happen also. I did submit a Support Ticket and got the response below. I ended up not doing anything as by then 2+ weeks since it happened had gone by and I was already re-creating entries. Frustrating though as I had years of info, just…

There are really good apps for tracking the trend on daily weights… was a game changer for me! I use Happy Scale for iPhone, but Libra is similar for Android.

You could try misting your olive oil (like with a Misto), you’d get even coverage with less volume/calories.

On your Apple Watch, are you looking at your Active Calories, or the total Calories for the day? 15% off the total can a relatively small deficit. I use a Fitbit now, I find the integration much better. But when I used my Apple Watch I didn’t have it paired to MFP. I logged HALF of the Active calories in MFP and ate those,…

I have this EXACT issue today…. Streak is there but all data in my log is gone. My weight loss graph is also gone, which is interesting as my streak shows weight lost so assume the data is there somewhere

I have always had the ability to work wherever I want, but I go into the office most days by choice, for many of the same reasons. My DH has WFH since pre-Covid and my parents live with us, plus we have two teens. I need to get out of the house! I am in a Director level role, but our teams are now hybrid with two days in…

In addition to some of the other ideas already posted above… I like to go to Whole Foods and get a plate from the hot bar or make your own salads (load up on veggies). I also seek out “healthier” options that help keep control of what I’m eating, especially where I can choose the toppings. Think the build your own poke…

I highly prefer the clip-on Fitbit style and was so sad when they discontinued the One. The wrist counts don’t seems as accurate to me. I have an Apple Watch now, and while many features are great it doesn’t have great functionality with MFP. Sad!

One other idea is using a weight trending app like Happy Scale (iPhone) or Libra (Android). I used to be stressed by the ups and downs of the scale but I now weigh daily in the morning, naked, after using the restroom so conditions are as consistent as possible. I then look at the TREND vs changes from last weight. Long as…

Here is the service we use, been very happy with this! https://wildalaskancompany.com/

I HAVE to have variety of flavors and textures to feel satisfied... example if I eat a Lean Cuisine for lunch I’m starving in an hour, but if I add some steam fresh broccoli, some raspberries, and a sugar free jello cup I am set until dinner with only like 100 additional calories. So it isn’t macros for me but variety. I…

I don’t eat breakfast so I can eat a bigger lunch and dinner.... I’m naturally not a breakfast eater so it fits my lifestyle better. If it doesn’t cause you to be hungry or gorge later, go for it

Yes.... because avocados! Nuf said

If weather is bad or you want to exercise indoors, try Leslie Sansone’s Walk Away the Pounds videos. Easy to modify also

I go there for specific things... their frozen organic brown rice, mandarin orange chicken, salmon burgers, and frozen Indian meals are superior to any others I have tried. So, I go to stock up on those and grab a few other things 1-2 times a month.

OP, as I understand you want to eat whatever you want and you want to exercise enough that you can? Sorry to say, but you can’t outrun a bad diet. It is EASY to consume several thousand calories if eating fast food, lots of soda, etc. When I was 19 I did of course eat those things, but couldn’t every day without gaining.…

If you walk that much in your normal life, maybe consider increasing your activity level by a level and not worry about tracking and logging? That may help keep you from obsessing over it.

Period 11 days late, any chance you are pregnant?

You might also want to consider using a weight trending app like Happy Scale (iPhone) or Libra (Android). It helps by smoothing out weight fluctuations and focuses on the trend. Just basing this on things you say, maybe that would help.

I used to make myself eat breakfast, I believed the ol “most important meal of the day” idea. However I naturally am not hungry in the morning. So about a year ago I stopped eating breakfast and have only coffee until lunch. Never been happier and I get more calories for later in the day. Do what works for you!!

She’d catch hands.... point blank. 👊 Straight up disrespectful and a health menace to boot.

Ok, I’m definitely not disturbed, just wanting to point out what may be the issue. Congrats with your success

You might want to post this in the Success Stories section rather than the main forum

Are you weighing/measuring things? Avocado and olive oil, in addition to being fatty they are also calorie dense (but nutritious and yummy!!). I eat both daily, nearly impossible to eat them and fill full after they use such a large proportion of your low daily allowance IMO.
