I love to slice up a cucumber and onion, and drizzle it with vinegar/salt/pepper. Huge portion for low calories, and tasty.

I have a coworker that has these for an afternoon snack... smells so cozy in winter.

Cottage cheese (in addition to some of the other mentioned things) Quest bars

I don't know about crap food causing foul gas.... mine is the worst from healthy things such as onions, cabbage, broccoli/cauliflower, etc etc. Junk food is no problem. LOL

I notice a huge difference in my nails when I take fish oil regularly... I’d assume it could also help hair given that

Agreed, I tend to think of it as “cheap insurance” rather than “expensive pee”

I use Happy Scale, those results are the moving average.... looks like lately you’ve been losing at a higher rate if your “current weight” is that 1.69 pounds per week which is higher rate than your overall. It defaults to using a 10-day moving average. Based on that you may want to bump up your calorie goal a little bit…

Team Instinct 4 Lyfe!!! :-) Trainer code 8579 8382 3218 Always happy to add friends, I have a small group I raid with locally, I chuckle that here I am a professional business woman playing Pokémon Go in the airport ha ha! I love it though, have fun with the kids and it’s a little nostalgic for me

From the MFP website (not from the app), you can review the Nutrition info. You can then click the button that they are incorrect, make the changes, then save. I would make sure you find accurate data before changing it though

Cabbage! Shop for staples at Aldi to stretch your dollar... I like to cut up cucumbers and onion, sprinkle with some vinegar/salt/pepper for cheap low cal veggie side. Omelets for dinner with whatever leftovers diced up in them, lots of variety that way and eggs are super cheap.

My husband has used MFP for years, but never comes in the forums.

Ha ha, I put my comfy clothes on soon as I get home anyways :-)

I wish jeans were made out of that same denim from then, I think it held everything in Lol... now it all stretches out and shows every lump

OP, definitely weigh the avocado! I love me some avocado but they are definitely calorie dense.

I tried Pacer but couldn't figure out how to use it with an iPhone (is it Android only with the sync??)

I’m paying for MFP Premium and was ok with doing so until this debacle. Cancelling Premium until they have a long term fix in place.

Most conferences I go to usually have out yogurts (usually Yoplait which isn't my fave but will do), a fruit/cheese platter, and whole fruits (bananas, etc). How many days is this, maybe check it out the first day and if it is indeed barren take an Uber to Whole Foods and stock up for the rest of the trip?

True... but the Trader Joe’s frozen brown rice is darn good, 3 mins and you have 2 cups brown rice. Totally worth it, I haven’t cooked rice the old fashioned way since I discovered it LOL

Seconding the Aldi versions.... we also like FlatOut Foldits, they are really good and ~110 cals
-
Love this thread, going to try some of these for sure! I like it with a drop of vanilla extract and a drizzle of honey

OP, I get it.... she’s your friend and you care about her! All you can do is tell her if she asks more questions and keep doing what you are doing on your goals. She’ll either get curious and ask more questions after she sees your continued success or she won’t. As long as she isn’t doing something dangerous you’ve done…

Yes, all the frozen fish "burgers" are good.... we buy the Mahi-Mahi, tuna, and salmon ones. They make a quick meal, I like to put them on a salad or eat them on a plate with a fork, and on sandwich thins. YUM

Your Fitbit isn’t saying you burned that much during the exercise per se.... it is saying your activity level for the day has exceeded the level you have set in MFP. Meaning, if you are set as sedentary but your activity level exceeds that by x calories, it awards you x calories
