  • I'm here if you need some more support. I've been doing well so far and hoping to leave any weight starting with a 3 behind me really soon.
  • FANTASTIC! I can't wait until my arthritis pain fades with more weight loss. It's pretty much gonna be awesome.
  • Lifelong PC gamer, RPG fan. I go through phases with games, but I enjoy Fable, Sims and EQ2. I love some sci-fi and some MLP too (I used to be pretty into a few anime series). I consider myself pretty geeky and kinda nerdy at times too.
  • Let's see, the worst from someone I knew personally and cared about their opinion: "I like your personality, you are great to be with, but I just don't find you physically attractive." ( Said after many months of flirtation from their end and immediately after getting way too intimate.)
  • Usually 4 or 5. I eat at 9am, 12pm, 3pm, 6pm and sometimes 9pm. It's been crazy awesome for my metabolism.
  • I LOVE the Boost Calorie Smart and Glucose Control formulas. Chocolate is the best for both, Vanilla is the runner up. They are only 190 calories. I use them if I just can't decide on something but need to eat or food doesn't sound appealing in the morning. They mix really well with coffee too!
  • Such an awesome idea. I've considered doing this before but would like to get out more over the summer. I will have to check that out too.
  • Girl, I'm so in the same boat. I am aiming for 105, but could easily lose 150. Family doesn't always get it. Hang in there. :-)
  • Breanna, I'm looking to lose close to that much. Feel free to friend me. I'm only a few weeks into using MFP, but it does really help a lot. :-) Best of luck!
  • This week I have been able to fit into the next size down in jeans and get them off without unbuttoning. I'm noticing I fit into chairs easier and am able to wear some shirts that were impossible to put on a few months ago.
  • End of August last year (no idea what I weighed at that point) vs yesterday.
  • If I could somehow compress more sleep into the time before I have to get up for work, I would go to bed at 2am or 3am everyday. As it is, "reasonable" for me is 11pm or 12am.
  • Totally awesome. Even at 45 lbs down, there was such a difference. Thanks for sharing.
  • Awesome. Thanks for sharing. I've been looking at ways to modify my old flourless chocolate torte recipe to be a little healthier. This will help.
  • I've found this difficult some days too. Having some meal replacements like Boost Calorie Smart around have helped me when I need to balance out my calories but food doesn't seem really appealing. Best of luck to you. :-)
  • Way to go. You look so much happier with yourself in the after pictures. Hope you are feeling better and can maintain your success. :-)
  • I like Spantone PurAbsorb. Not sure it's available where you are though.
  • I'm on the 100+ lb journey too. Looking for friends on here also. :-)
  • That's great to hear about cream cheese! I didn't even notice that. Cheese overall is a slippery slope. I do love mozzarella though. Speaking of which, anyone else been shocked at the calorie "cost" of pizza?
  • 200 calories? That's nuts! :-)
  • I've really been considering buying this to add to shakes. I just can't decide between regular and chocolate peanut butter. Anyone have a strong preference?

  • Congrats to you both on the little triumphs! They do seem to stack up. I really like your examples about pants. It's so hard to see changes ourselves sometimes, clothing fit is good reminder of progress.
  • Thanks for the help everyone! I can definitely get more spinach in my diet since I already like that. Looks like some squash or sweet potato might help too.
  • Kimba, I'll definitely throw myself a little party at the 25lbs mark. I'll do a freaking dance then, because I might be able to. :-) I have the same ultimate goal as you. I always feel a little hopeful when people say how they feel better now than they did in their teens/20s. :-) Hope your goals get met soon too.
  • Cool, didn't know that. Coffee and I are way better friends than plain water and I. :-)
  • Good point about other people. I've actually decided (as an experiment) to not tell anyone irl that I've lost any weight and just see how long it takes before someone says something. I feel like that recognition isn't really what I'm looking for right now. People have their own stuff going on and aren't always quick on the…
  • Good point about oranges. I may need to look into some snacks like fruit with lots of water content. I do drink a cup or two of coffee a day, but I somehow remember caffeine as negating some hydration. Might be wrong on that one though.
  • Thanks for the welcome and encouragement. Even with only 10lbs lost, I definitely feel a difference in pressure on my knees. One of my milestones is going to be when I lose 25lbs, so 100lbs of pressure off my knees. Hoping I can get there by the end of the summer. :-)
  • Sounds like you've had a rough day. Thankfully high blood pressure is one of those things that's easy to monitor and can be fixed in time. I had to stop smoking, drinking energy drinks and powerade (high sodium) when I found out my BP was high. Hang in there. :-)
  • Yep. I haven't had a chance to play with it yet, but it seems like once you link your fitbit it will add your activity to your exercise data on MFP.
