I get the same. I love fruit but I am also pre-diabetic. I believe I'll have to cut back on the fruit and find other things to snack on. 25 grams is the maximum recommended intake. It's not hard to consume that in fruit.

I'm down for that. Also the other idea with the meat around the pickle. Glad I logged in today. Thanks everyone!

Looks amazing! Share the recipe?

I am thankful that I found this thread. I was on it a month ago but have lost track of my goal. Back on now! Just for today..... ***I will log all of my food and stay within my goal ***I will exercise for 30 min ***I will not binge tonight (hardest part)!

I seriously need motivation. Haven't logged my intake since July and I've let myself go, gaining instead of losing weight. I'm a sugar addict and late night binger. Thanks for this blog! Just for today I will not consume sweets. Just for today I will increase my exercise time. Just for today I will menu plan for the…

Thanks for sharing. I'm not a fan of brown rice but someone recently told me about the benefits of brown rice and beans for breakfast so I'm going to try it. :)

Heidi's Clafouti recipe works for me! And my family likes it too. It's great for my sweet tooth or a hunger spell without adding loads of calories.

I just watched the video on how to make Sambhar. Love cooking ethnic foods -thanks for posting! Homemade soups offer excellent nutritional value and can help support weight loss.

Sounds good, thanks for posting.

I better kick butt and lose the "automobile tire", don't like having lost a human skin!

Heidi, I made your Clafoutis recipe. Served it right out of the oven. My family and I really enjoyed it. Reminded me of my time in France. Great idea to post! Thanks so much.

just checked out your recipe. Can't wait to make it - thanks!

Spinach and cheese manicotti in homemade tomato sauce. I used lots of spinach and low fat ricotta and mozz cheese. Really good! About 200 cals per roll. I ate 2.

Thanks for the info about bread, this is the first time I hear this. I have acid reflux that has at times consumed my life with discomfort.
-
You are lucky it's only temporary. There is no cure for acid reflux, the esophagus muscle is basically dead allowing stomach acid to creep up. I was diagnosed with acid reflux when I was 20. (now I'm 49) I have chronic sore throats and heartburn. As a young person, I had terrible throat infections that wouldn't clear up,…

really hungry!

I'll give them a try. The only problem is, I'll most likely have more than one or perhaps the whole 9 squares!

I too find that variety is very helpful in keeping my meals low-cal and interesting. I cook 3 veggies with my main course and avoid the carbs when possible. I also cut up a bunch of fresh raw veggies like cucumbers, tomatoes and radishes from my local farmer's market. Thanks for the cheese idea, will try it sometime to…

If you're up for the amount of work, these are fantastic! Healthy and not too fattening. Good cold, hot, as left overs. Or serve as an appetizer which I do all the time, people love them. DOLMADES: grape vine leaves with rice stuffing Rice stuffing: cook all of the following ingredients in 2 cups of water: 3 tsp currants,…

Hi Tm, I have just started MFP four days ago. I have tried logging my food intake before but never stuck with it. My biggest problem is binging. Last night I had a binge and this morning I recorded everything. I feel remorseful as I always do, but seeing the number of total caloriess makes me feel motivated to not let this…
