I fricken love this part haha, hit the nail on the head!

I'm here to join you guys - W1D1 of B210K complete and I'm excited about the rest of the programme :D
-
Awesome! It's so great that you've started. I'm a C25K convert, got W9D1 tomorrow and my first 5k race in 3 weeks' time, and I'm SO impressed by what that programme has done for me. Awesome that you've already got a race lined up!
-
You look so dashing and 'exotic european' now! well done on some incredibly hard work!
-
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! That is SO cool and inspiring :) I have my first-ever race in a month, and it's only 5k but I'm nervous and excited for it, so I'm VERY impressed with you doing 10k as your first!! Well done :)

My current goal is 135-140lbs :) that's the weight that my mum and sister are at, and we're all the same height. I think that's where my body should be comfortable, I don't need to be 110lbs! :D Edit: I'm 5'4" :)
-
that is awesome! i do the same thing so it's really good to hear you've overcome it! that will be my goal next weekend :D go you!

I'm in the same place as you too, W6D2 due to be run tomorrow

I definitely have days like that! I'm trying through trial and error and experience to find a correlation between that and hormones and alcohol and level of exercise (very unscientifically though) but I'm yet to find a definite trigger! I've found it helps if you have a lot of fruit and veges in the cupboard and not much…

This sounds awesome! Yes I've noticed just from my normal diaries and records of new years resolutions etc that I've been yo-yoing between 155-170lbs for the last 8 years, making the same resolutions etc and never really getting anywhere! I'm really pleased to see it's working for you and that you've got the drive to get…

Hey, welcome to the C25K programme! I'm due to start week 5 tomorrow and I'm so in love with this programme. Try a different app if you want, I have the Get Running app which is simple (just tells you time, not distance) but it lets you play your own music. tells you when to walk or run, and YES, it tells you where the…

wow, that is thought-provoking, because I've definitely had that urge. I want to just keep going and going - I better chill a bit! Thanks for this!

I'm 24 :)

I think that's actually a good idea! I'm doing C25K now, but I've heard SO many good things about Insanity. I think when it comes to working out, if you do what fits in your schedule, what motivates you rather than your neighbour, then it's SO much easier to stick to and you'll enjoy it more... so do what you're more…

Haha in a way I do that, I do my run and then I get all excited wanting it to be my next run day, even though I've got a whole rest day in between. We must be enjoying what we're doing!
-
Wow, go you! You're now officially an inspiration to me too haha. Well done!
-
5'4" here! I'm 168lbs and I'm working to get to 140lbs (and 130lbs after that). Feel free to add! I'm working on the C25K at the moment :)

1. turn off alarm 2. turn on computer 3. wake myself up with the bright white pages of MFP and Facebook

Hello! I just ran Week 2 Day 1 today, so I'm really just beginning it! I tried it once before but gave up at the 5 week mark. Really aiming to finish it this time! It's nice to see you guys talking about week 6-8, gives me an idea of what to expect :)
-
I'd love to join you! I have the same problem, I've tried it before but stopped midway through. I'm on week 2 at the moment :)
-
I agree. It's very easy to use, the voice is positive but not annoying, and I like how it estimates dates ahead so you have a goal to work for e.g. if I keep up the way i'm going I'll finish this run training course by Oct 26th etc. I love mine :)

I now must apologise for being amused by this post earlier. Karma paid me back by way of a large spider in my bedroom this evening, and NO SPRAY TO KILL IT WITH. Lucky there was a pot nearby to squash it with. UGH. SO yes. Spiders are fricken terrifying.

You write very well! Entertaining and yet serious. Nice. I completely agree with the bug spray idea.
-
I'm 5'4" , 166lbs currently, aiming for 140lbs. nice to see you all on here! Feel free to add me if you're wanting new mfp friends!
-
well done! anything helps! I notice with even just a few pounds down clothes start to feel better and muscles start to feel a little firmer. it's great! :D

Some people are built bigger, but even if you're 6ft and as broad as an ox, you can still look fit and strong and sexy if you're in proportion. If massive guys can have flat stomachs and abs, I reckon we ladies can too, no matter how tall/broad we are :)
-
I'm just learning how to run as well! I have my good days and bad days, and am starting C25K again after doing it last year and quitting at the end of week 5. I know I can get to week 9 now! Wouldn't it be awesome to actually be one of those lean, strong runners! Soon we will be haha
-
I'd go with HRM as well, then you know it's more likely to be correct for you personally :) you can pick up a pretty basic model for not too much :)
-
I've just started Muay Thai kickboxing and I love it :) we don't have to start sparring until much later, right now it's about getting the technique right and enjoying pummeling the stress away! I'm already looking forward to next week's session, I wish it was more often! So yes, def, try the 10 trip trial!!
