You are also welcomed to check in at the low carb board. Lowering your sugar will automatically lower your carb intake quite a bit. Decreasing grains as well can really be beneficial! Good Luck!

For all you experienced folks, do you think it is better to track macros as a percentage of your calories (how do you decide how many total calories?), or just as x grams of fat, protein, carbs, letting the calories fall where they may... ? If you have your macros all in the right proportions, do calories matter so much?

Day 5 done today. I can definitely tell a big improvement in my endurance. I am still doing it every other day, which is perfect for me. I may start trying some other "milder" exercises on my "off" days.

I took one day off and did Day 3 yesterday. I'm much less sore today than after Day 2. I guess that's some progress. I think I am going to try to do this every other day. Otherwise, I'm afraid I will not stick with it at all. Every other day will give me at least 3 workouts per week, which is a lot more than I was doing!…

Received a page on my pager this morning at 5:45 and it was a "wrong number". Figured that was my not-so-subtle cue to get up and get my work out done before work! Day 2 of the Shred done! I will take my shaking body to the shower now!!
