  • 4ft 11 here, started at 129lbs and went down all the way to 90.5lbs but have put on a few pounds this month (on purpose, I was too thin). Anyone free to add me, the more friends I have the more motivated I am to stick at this
  • I am a long time vegan, and also consistently on mfp! I am in maintenance now... anybody feel free to add me :D
  • I take a B12 supplement though. And eat B12 fortified foods. I did have blood tests before christmas and everything was fine then. B12 deficiency takes years to develop because you store B12 in your body for a long time.
  • Yes, I drink lots of water. I take a vegan multivitamin with lots of B12 and I drink fortified B12 containing products such as nutritional yeast and plant milks. I eat lots of healthy fats, nut butters/avocado etc and I drink lots of soy milk/ eat lots of soy yoghurt/ beans etc for protein. B12 deficiency is actually…
  • I said I've been to see a doctor, if you read the post!
  • I drank at least once a week throughout my weight loss (in maintenance now) and lost consistently. I would occasionally binge drink and have at least a couple of drinks a few nights a week. I ate a little bit less but didn't find it affected my losses much. In fact I read something about alcohol leaving your system much…
  • How do you deal with it? Dump your boyfriend. Who needs that kind of relationship?
  • Vegan here! Anyone feel free to add me
  • I've been feeling like this. I was very vigilant when I was losing, basically always below my calories. I think for me it is because I am struggling to get out of the losing mindset, so still having days when I am under maintenance and then I am lacking energy on other days leading to me wanting to eat loads more. I think…
  • I'm 4ft 11 so think the same as you! Feel free to add me - I am in maintenance now
  • Vegan here! Feel free to add me :)
  • I'm vegan feel free to add me!

  • 20
  • I have bad anxiety issues, and issues with my mood too. I have done for many many years. I have however successfully used my fitness pal since last august and met my goal weight at the end of January. I don't know how my anxiety issues have affected it, in all honestly it may have led to me feel a little obsessive over…
  • Vegan here for 2 years and longterm veggie before that, feel free to add me!
  • I am about to start week 8 of c25k, I couldn't run more than a few minutes before I started it, now been running for solid 25 minutes and getting pretty fast too actually  I've never been able to exercise regularly in my life before this, I think it's a great program! Well done on your run too!!!

  • Well there is quite a lot of logic actually. We are not babies, and we are not cows, hence we do not need baby cow milk. Plus it hurts animals, we don't need to eat it, we don't want to hurt animals, logical decision is not to consume it. I don't feel superior. I just don't feel guilty.
  • My bmi was around there to start with too, but I can see why she would want to lose. When you're short you carry weight a lot more than your average person! I feel much much healthier after my loss
  • I'm 4ft 11 too (go shorties!) and I started at 129lbs so similar, met my goal of 95lbs by sticking to 1200 calories. I found it easy to stick with by eating an almost entirely wholefood diet, and 100% plant based. Lots of fruit and veggies. At this height 1200 calories I didn't find too little, there is less of us than…
  • Propaganda - for what cause? What do we get from actively excluding most commonly available foods from our diet? How does that personally benefit us? We only do it because morally and ethically, we can't ignore what is going on. Its not about us - its the animals and the planet.
  • Nut juice? Its just blended nuts and filtered water. Mmm because the lactations of a large bovine mammal who just had a baby sounds so yummy. As does the hormones, pus, cholesterol and a good ol' dose of slaughtered baby cow!
  • At 129lbs I was in the overweight range for my height (I'm only 4ft 11). Plus I have a tiny frame, meaning I should be around 100lbs to be right in the middle of the healthy weight range. However due to my small frame I think I suit a little less, and feel healthiest where I am now. Trying to switch to maintenance but its…
  • Feel free to friend me! Vegan for around 2 and half years and veggie for many many before that. I post a lot of vegan recipes and finds  as others said though, vegan doesn't equal weight gain. I gained weight in my first year after also moving out from my parents at the same time which meant I got to choose my own…
  • I don't eat a lot of refined sugar at all but agree with others that there really isn't a reason to 100% avoid it. I cook most of my food myself and never add normal sugar to anything I make, I like to use stevia and fruit. Occasionally in baking I will use a combination of stevia and pure maple syrup. I don't think sugar…
  • I'm a vegan in the North of England (Newcastle), and have been vegan for just over two years and using my fitness pal consistently for the past half a year or so. Feel free to add me!!
  • The best you can do is just eat plants instead.
