  • "If you want what you've never had, then do something you've never done." "What you do today can improve all your tomorrows." "Yes You Can!" These are the quotes that I keep on my desk at work.
  • Congratulations! That is fabulous. Cheers to your good health! :flowerforyou:
  • "night sexy" from my ex-boyfriend
  • I've been divorced for 7 years and want to go back to my maiden name. I've been dragging my feet because it's a pain to change my name on everything, but I just need to do it. The way I see it is if I were to die tomorrow, what name would I want on my headstone? I wouldn't want it to be my ex's...
  • I am pear-shaped and have gone from a size 14 to a size 4/6. I still have about ten pounds to lose in my midsection/thighs. I am running, and my sister just said last week that I looked slimmer to her so hopefully it's working.
  • Congratulations! :drinker: I successfully completed w5d3 on Monday. I tried to find every excuse not to (it was raining, I was tired, I was hungry), and when I ran out of excuses, I just ran! It was such a fantastic feeling. This is my second time through the program. I had to stop during the middle of week 7…
  • I love c25k. I started it last year, but fractured my ankle half way through week 7. I was running over two miles nonstop when it happened. I am doing it again now that I've been cleared by the doc to run again. I will be doing the dreaded w5d3 tomorrow (20 minute nonstop run). Yesterday I ran my first nonstop mile in…
  • Hi, I'm Christi
  • Hi all! I'm 5'1 and started a little over a year at 178 lbs. I've lost close to 50 lbs. It's gone up and down the past few weeks. I have another 10 or so to lose. These last few have been the most difficult. It didn't help that I fractured my ankle twice during this time. Anyway, feel free to add me. I wish you all much…

  • I make this all of the time. http://www.skinnytaste.com/2008/12/diet-soda-cake-35-pts.html There are a lot of other recipes on skinnytaste.com as well. I also like angel food cake with strawberries and fat free Cool Whip. Edited: I just saw that you are allergic to strawberries. You can also make chocolate angel food cake…
  • Welcome!! I love your quote as well. My quote is "Yes I can!" because we are all perfectly capable of achieving our goals.
  • I fractured my ankle in February and had to work from home for five weeks since I couldn't drive. I also couldn't work out during that time. I had severely cut back on diet Pepsi prior to that. But since I was home, bored and frustrated, I started drinking more diet Pepsi instead of turning to comfort foods. I managed to…
  • I've had migraines since I was 9 or so. I take Relpax with either Advil or Aleve when I get one. I used to take Imitrex, but even the highest doses of that weren't helping me any longer. My biggest triggers are hormonal, stress and changes in the weather. My doctor told me to try taking magnesium as there have been studies…
  • I started this journey almost a year ago in anticipation of the cruise I was taking with my family in March 2012. Well, my ticker pic is me on that cruise - in my new size 4 dress! The cruise was my motivation, and now that the cruise is over, I'm using the picture to keep me motivated.
  • Congratulations! You look fantastic! Not only did you make the necessary changes to get healthy, you were able to avoid a surgery. That is really awesome.
  • 35 and feeling better than I did at 25!!
  • Congratulations! You're hard work has really paid off. Enjoy this fabulous feeling; you deserve it!
  • Congratulations! You can definitely tell a difference. Keep up the great work!
  • I'm doing the same thing. 5 lbs are my "light" weights and 8 lbs are my "heavy" weights. I can definitely tell the difference. It is a great feeling but it definitely burns at times!
  • Try skinnytaste.com. There are some fabulous recipes on that website. This one sounded especially good. http://www.skinnytaste.com/2012/02/skinny-no-bake-peanut-butter-pie.html

  • Things that have worked for me: - Set realistic goals. I am not going to lose five pounds a week. I am happy with any loss. - Don't try to change everything overnight. MFP gave me an initial calorie goal of 1,200. I thought I was going to starve the first day. I upped it to 1,500 and gradually worked my way down. I still…
  • I love Chris Freytag's 10 lb slimdown xtreme DVDs. I fractured my ankle 4 1/2 weeks ago and haven't been able to work out. I can't wait to get back to it.
  • Hi I'm Christi, Starting weight - 128.4 (March 12) Goal weight - 120 I started my journey May 2011 in order to get ready for a cruise that I'm going on next week. I almost made my goal weight and would love to get there in the next 12 weeks. I bought a ton of new summer clothes for the cruise, and I can't wait to wear them!
  • Congratulations!! You look great.
  • Yummy! Thanks for sharing. I made a version of this for lunch today. I cut the chicken breasts into large nuggets. I eliminated the salt but added some Tastefully Simple Spinach & Herb mix and Garlic Garlic. I also added some grated parmesan cheese to the panko bread crumbs. Mine came out to 180 calories, 10 carbs, 2 fat,…
  • I did this one this morning. Missed yoga yesterday so will do that this evening, along with tomorrow's total body xtreme. I am going out of town tomorrow after work so I figure I can split Friday's and Saturday's workouts between Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Then I will still be on track for week 3.
