I would suggest weighing yourself more than once a week, you need to understand that weight fluctuates and your up 3 lbs could just have easily been a swing, the next day you could have been down 1.

Any other ideas to the fray?

Move along, nothing to see here.

I wasn't fussed about the Vegan thing but guess that isn't a bad thing. Do you just take it as recommended?

Just me sitting on the actual iron throne. (I work in the film industry)

Thanks dude. Some good stuff there. Thanks!

IMO I'd say it completely depends on where you are riding. Realistically I don't think at that weight you should be doing anything that will put stress on the bike, even going up a curb. As has been previously said, it's the wheels. Personally I'd aim to get below 320 or so before attempting. I'm pretty sure the expensive…

Just use the same spot. Whats the point. You've already admitted that different spots give different results. How will you know if you are losing weight or its just a better spot.

I don't know where you are based, myprotein.com has some great stuff.

Great podcast, made me think, you should consider doing your own one!

It is targeted to what the manufacturer believes is an ideal body shape and movement should be, but that might not necessarily be YOUR ideal movement. Also take something simple like a bicep curl, machine will totally isolate you so its JUST bicep, a free weight standing bicep curl uses even your feet muscles for balance…

Yeah thats correct, bit extreme, and can easily lead to binging issues, but if you can handle it, theres no reason why it's unsafe.

You could try not eating till midday or 1pm? That way you'll probably have the calories for it.

Number step from here is reduce your calories. You will start losing weight immediately. There are many hurdles you are going to overcome, but the first thing first is get your food quantity in order.

I'd recommend typing raw afterwards. Eg "spaghetti raw' and a result will come in. Also will not hurt to look at the packet aswell. 100g os spaghetti making 330 cals would almost certainly be raw.

Morning, is there a reason you need to be 15?

Easy way to think about it. Think of calories as a weekly goal, rather than a daily goal.

Do resistance training from the start. You will regret it otherwise down the line.

The most simplest answer is the best foods to lose weight are the foods you cane enjoy in moderation, and that you can control. If they control you or you can't help yourself then these are not the bet foods to lose weight.

What is your daily target?

How do your knees go forward but your butt not go down? Seems impossible. I would recommend doing it without a weight first.

Hi everyone, just found this group after an MFP pal linked me to a post. I'm a regular rider, both road and mtb. I live in Watford, UK. Most often I can be seen commuting on the roadie 22 miles a day between Watford and Uxbridge, longer routes when I can. But I'm also nowadays getting very active on the MTB scene and can…

I use a smart phone to track my rides, using both Runkeeper & Strava. I regularly commute 11 miles each way with 8 hour break inbetween. Apart from the obvious battery drain the middle bit (as GPS would still be running) would have on my phone I also don't think it's entirely accurate of my performance to think of it as…

If you have time for the eliptical surely you have time for walking? Real life.....less excuses please.

Off topic I know but I can't resist to say that I think it's interesting that you decided that eating the fast food is bad for you but you are fine with your daughter having it. I'm not judging, I know there are many reasons why one would make that choice, and I'm not a parent so I can't put myself in anyones shoes. But…
