Had 6kg's of HUEL dumped on me for free.
Alright guys, before we start, I eat actual food, and I calorie count, I'm not talking about going on cleanses or just eating meal replacement shakes, I'm not trying to sell anything etc etc. Good now we got that out the way, someone at my office who seems to have a loose wallet bought a hell of a load of Huel, I believe…

MFP Peeps Facebook, what happened
One minute I'm a member, suddenly it's gone, did it get shut down? Or did I get deleted? Can't imagine why I would have been. Sadface, that place was fun. And I'm talking about the rude MFP Peeps FB, not the MFP Peeps Weight Loss Support FB. :)

Thinking about running the Reading Half Marathon next year, so looking for a training plan. Have previously run one 10 mile race and regularly do 5-10k's. I'm looking for a 3-4 month training plan. I've previously used Hal Higdons online one, (would look at something like this…

Resistance routine for a cardio boy
Hi Guys, Just rejoined the gym after a few years absense. In meantime only resistance work has been from rock climbing and P90X. I cycle a LOT (20 miles a day work commute). I also run, but at the moment thats taken a step back due to achiles injury. I'd like to get back into lifting, since I know that a good resistance…

Restarting lifting program...but cardio???
Hi guys, I'm relatively experienced with iron both at the gym and at home. But I quit the gym about 4 years ago in favour of taking up running and doing home workouts like P90X. However I'm thinking now is the time to start a strength program and I'm probably going to rejoin a gym. I'm thinking about doing a 5x5 routine. I…

Slacklining
Hi, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slacklining Just curious if anyone here does this? It's slowly becoming quite popular in the UK and Europe. not sure about the American scene. I can get on the line and walk a little bit, and I literally am sweating within 5 minutes. Really good all body workout, and all you need is the…

Man face comparison, 21lbs difference.
I've never posted in the success board other than to congratulate others, I see my proper Before & After a quite a way away, but felt I could certainly shove this one in. Been about a year, got heavier then got lighter, really didn't quite apply myself as much as I should have, but saw this pic the other day from some…

WTF has happened to my running.
So I consider myself an OK runner, but in the last 2 weeks something has changed and I'm not liking it and haven't a clue why. I'm still overweight but I have PB 10k time of 57 mins and PB 5k time of 27ish. So not fantastic, but about average. I regularly ran 5k's once to 3 times a week and throw in the odd 4 miles/10k.…

Make me go mountain biking.
So I've finally found a local club that seems pretty cool and agreed to a meet up tonight. I've only chatted online to people, in terms of my mountain biking experience it's pretty mediocre but I think I can hold my own, barely. However it's just bucketed down with rain and I reckon my *kitten* is gonna get handed to me…

ATTENTION Cider lovers! (UK)
I LOVE cider, especially the fruity/pear kind. And I just thought I'd pass this on to anyone else who likes it, has the odd one and wants to make a reformed choice. For me I love Rekorderlig, Kopparberg, Bullmers, Jaques, Stella Cidre. Well i decided to compare all my fave ciders, and worked out which is the best and worst…

Fasted morning bike commute or breakfast first.
So as often as I can (3-5 days a week) I cycle 12 miles in the morning to work. It takes 45 mins or so and burns about 700 calories. It's quite a cardio burn. Now I hate getting up early, so often I rarely leave time for breakfast and do the 45 mins on an empty stomach/overnight fast. I'm aware that exercise before…

Juice Plus, advice please.
Hi guys, For starters I am in no way interested in getting into Juice Plus or any of their products, I count my cals and eat real food. So for those that are of the TLDR variety hopefully that has weeded out some replies. Basically, my sister has suddenly had some sort of 'brainwave' and has decided to become a Juice Plus…

Runkeeper Pocket Track
Hey, Just wondering if any Runkepper users had enabled Pocket Track and as to the reliability of it? I think its a feature that is only enabled if you have an iPhone 5s as it uses part of its motion processor. basically it will count walks of 15 mins or more automatically without the need to start a walking activity, kinda…

Thinking about first Half Marathon (Reading 2014)
So I'm thinking about signing up to a Half Marathon. Although in the last 6 months I've signed up to 2 races that I haven't turned up to due to lack of training. Just curious to hear from the runners out there if you think i could realistically train in the time. It's 2nd March 2014, so 3 and a half months. I currently run…

Spreadsheets with friends!
So about 5 of my friends and I have been all chatting through a Whatsapp messaging group to motivate each other, but we need more accountability. I've considered a spreadsheet we can all use, a shared one, like Google Doc, or an excel spreadsheet that could be ina shared dropbox, although google docs is easier, it has less…

Runkeeper & MFP Integration
The day has finally come. Although lot of people are having trouble linking. I haven't tested it but it seems its all done from Runkeeper's side, not MFP. So go to your RK and go to Apps and find MFP under the nutrition apps.
