We toss our broccoli in olive oil and some herbs and spices and put in the broiler for 10-12 minutes - they come out a little crispy - we call them broccoli pop'ems lol - yummy! You can broil the chicken the exact same way and it comes out really moist. Got any frozen veggies? Maybe throw some peas in with your rice and use broth instead of plain water, and a little butter, for a twist on the rice.

I'm actually liking this meal nowadays. I use the sauce mix included with the sweet and sour chicken box - just not as much as they recommend. Maybe one table spoon of sauce mix for one serving of chicken, so the box can be used for about a dozen meals instead of just six

Rice is boiled first with salt, thyme, curry and garlic powder

Fry/sauté the chicken per the instructions, with or without a tiny bit of their spice mix, add some broth and the sauce mix when the chicken is done, stir in the cooked rice when the sauce is thick. I like spicy food so I toss some cayenne pepper on top of the thicken sauce

Broccoli is just microwaved with I can't believe it's not butter spray, some salt and pepper
