Awesome, I'm adding you. :)

My Wednesday wish - hoping to find more active friends! I have been a member of MFP for a long time, but haven't used it seriously in many years now. I am currently 305, started at 312, and have a long way to go. Add me if you're looking for friends!

I'm so inspired by your progress. Thanks for sharing!

To get compliments! I never get any and sometimes I wonder if I'm just unattractive. Also, clothes!

I really don't see the harm in it. Most of the girls in my family haven't been into mani/pedis and such, myself included. I just recently got into the habit of getting my nails done, and it's so expensive. :ohwell: I do think some parents go overboard with letting young girls do those sorts of things. I mean, a pedi is one…

I have a tendency to be rather paranoid about some things... well, very paranoid. It's caused me troubles in quite a few aspects of my life. It also causes me to be a conspiracy theory nut at times.

I'm 5'7" according to one doctor and 5'7 1/2" according to another. :p I don't have an ultimate goal weight yet. I always said 150 but I've never been anything but morbidly obese. I guess I won't know until I get there tbh. Part of me feels like anything below 175 is pushing it, like can't handle anything too low. But I'm…

Sales people actually help you at clothing stores! :grumble:

Geeze, not only fit people go to gyms. What a crappy reason to not go, because unfit people are there.

Sometimes comments like that give us more drive than anything else could. My fiance would never say that to me though, he's very encouraging. Not sure what to make of your guy saying that, unless you two have a playful/joking sense of humor as a couple.

I wish I knew. I think some of these responses are great, though. I'm slowly trying to get myself to replace food with exercise, but it's difficult. Sometimes I feel like I could :explode: I find that keeping busy with cleaning, school, family, and exercise are the best methods though.

I also have problems with binging. I mean, really bad problems. I have been struggling with it nonstop for several months now, and I have just recently been taking the steps necessary to combat my eating problems. What helps me is not counting calories. I know that seems crazy, but when I count calories I become obsessed…

Any dessert made with good, fresh ingredients. I love sweets.

I'll have to hold back here, because I love motivational quotes. Any quotes, really. I'm sure I drive some on my FL crazy since I post quotes every other day. :ohwell: Anyway, in regards to my weight loss journey, here are some of my favorites: - All things are difficult before they are easy. - Today I will do what others…

I am not comfortable with myself enough to wear bathing suits but I adore 50's style retro swimsuits for curvy ladies. Modcloth has some excellent ones that I like: http://www.modcloth.com/shop/plus-size-swimwear

I love your motivation and I will virtually drink to that! :drinker:

I've been with my fiance for 19 months and funnily enough, I have been gaining weight the entire time - BUT he has been losing. Before we met I had lost 93 pounds and as we dated I gained most of it back. He started out pretty large and is still a bit heavyset, but much more fit and healthy than he was. I mean, he is…

Hi there! You can add me if you wanna. :) I log in daily and try to post motivational statuses as much as possible. I'll be up front and admit sometimes I have bad days and need a little motivation myself, but I'm definitely in this for the long haul. :drinker:

I'm 22 (23 in August) and I think I qualify for young adult. :) I feel young, at least! Feel free to add me if you wanna.

I'm 22 and engaged to a 24 year old now. I've never been one to date around or have many relationships. I've literally had three and each time the guy was older than me.

1) I have an AA in Business and I'm almost finished with my BA in Child development. 2) I'm a published poet, but not one-hundred percent happy with the work I've had published. I was published in the seventh and ninth grades, and once again in my freshman year of college. I hope to create a book of poetry one day and have…

There are better things in store for us than any we leave behind! Yeah the quote is overused, but true nonetheless.:flowerforyou:

Oh, I'm glad you recommended that because I was about to! That is exactly what I thought of after reading the OP's post. To Patrick: Please watch that documentary! Also, I know this sounds extreme, but maybe a career change would really turn things around for you? If it's a possibility, find something that makes you…
