I'm living in Ohio right now and the opposite is true for me. I'm 5'2" and most of the women I meet at 5'6" or taller and have a larger frame. In Atlanta, where I grew up, it seemed like a bigger mixture of body types and sizes

Why don't you just make a steak or fish dish as well? If you make a side, a dessert, and a main course, you'll have enough of your food to eat. It will be expensive to basically cook enough of multiple things you'll eat for everyone, but if you really want to, you'll be able to make a Thanksgiving meal out of just the…

If it's just a day or two, having low calories isn't a big deal. If your kid is longer term kind of sick or you have time to run to the store, then get some Ensure shakes to add a quick few hundred calories

I don't like super skinny guys or very "fluffy guys". I prefer larger-framed guys with a good amount of muscle but not quite gymbro meathead looking. Something like Chris Pratt is Guardians of the Galaxy shape is pretty ideal, maybe slightly less muscular/a little more fat.

Please show me this study where plants feel pain. They don't have nerves. I'm a plant pathologist, the closest thing you'll get to a plant doctor, and have never heard of such a thing.

Gastritis can feel similar to hunger pains. I dealt with this for a little. Eating would make it feel better but only for a short time. If you feel the pains shortly after eating a 300 or more calorie, nutritious meal/snack (like within 30 min to 1.5 hours), then you need to talk to a doctor.

I love the Bigelow Vanilla Chai tea. It's inexpensive and available at most grocery stores. The Celestial Seasonings Sweet Harvest Pumpkin and the Cinnamon Apple Spice (this one has no caffeine) teas are great too. I can drink all of these easily without sugar or sweeteners as well. Trader Joe's also has a Candy Cane tea…

Some people like to have a goal of a small dress size... For someone short, a size 0 or 2 may be a reasonable goal, but for someone tall, a size 0 might be only at a very unhealthy weight. So you can "I'm a size X now!" which might seem more impressive when X is smaller.

Another thing to consider is stress. I find it very stressful to stick to such a low calorie limit (1200, since I am short and don't have a lot to lose, though I have upped it to 1330 lately) and that can cause changes in my hair and skin. If you're finding yourself stressing out about eating choices and exercising, that…

Make a pumpkin and veggie crustless quiche. Use a can of pumpkin, 1.25 cups liquid egg whites, sauteed veggies of your choice (spinach, mushrooms, zucchini), some seasoning (salt, pepper, chili powder) and bake at 350 for an hour.

You can't pick and choose, but you can do compound weight exercises that will work many muscles. Combined with proper nutrition, you'll have better abs, thighs, and all (well..most) other body parts.

The grapes actually looked good, they just tasted terrible
-
Great, thanks for the answers, I'll definitely return the turkey and possibly the grapes too

Crop tops.

Definitely visible in my face. Just 1 chin instead of 1.5. Even my nose looks thinner.

You did not gain weight in 11 days. What makes you think you would lose it as fast?
-
Meal timing will not have direct impact on your weight. If it's not causing you sleep issues, do as you'd like.
-
I'm the same way. I tend to eat more later at night on exercise days to get my calories in.

I make a similar recipe but add red bell peppers, bamboo shoots, mushrooms, and water chestnuts. One of my favorite easy-to-make meals.

Whole box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

If it was only 5 salads, that wouldn't be so bad!

I agree with the others in saying something but in a polite and friendly way. "Hey, I appreciate you noticing but I get kind of self-conscious when people comment on my body, do you think you could hold off on it? It would help me a lot." It's possible she's in shape and wants to be "the hot one" so saying things like…

This. If the profile pic is you, I don't see how you can be a size 8. I am 5'2 - 5'3" and a size 0 or 2 in Old Navy and Express, and you are thinner than me. How much do you weigh?

I'm short with short legs and a small frame but pear shaped. GAP 1969 legging jeans (in Short length) and 7 For all Mankind Gwenevere are two that I really like
-
I'm 5'2". I have a pair from C9 that hit right below my knees and another from Moving Comfort that are a tiny bit longer (top of calf). My Brooks running leggings are also the right length for me, not bunchy at the bottom.

I tolerate pistachios. Every other nut is narsty. Peanuts are legumes.

Vodka, soda, splash of cranberry. Bacardi and diet Coke. Beck's Light. Hoegaarden. Bud/Miller light. I like gin and diet tonic, but most places have only regular tonic, which still has a good amount of calories. Soda has 0 though, so you could try it with soda and lime.

Interesting, a lot of the pics are what I would call "leggings." I typically only call something a "yoga pant" if it has a foldover top or something similar and/or a flared bottom like 1,5,6, and 7: #2, I would say sweats and the other I would call leggings. Potayto, potahto... Also #1's leg looks crappily photoshopped to…

Hm, I generally shop for groceries at Kroger, back in my home state and my new state in a different area of the country. I never get any comments about what I'm buying except the rare "ooh, that looks really good" or "I love these!" Maybe they have good employee training about the matter. Also, most cashiers will tell you…

Sugary kids cereals. Once I ate a whole box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch in a day. I don't have issues with binges like this, I just really like it. I had it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I don't buy CTC anymore.
