MFP has your deficit built in without exercise. its intended use is to eat back some calories if not all(everyone will be different). but a bigger deficit is not always a good thing.
-
fasting wont make a difference unless it puts you into a calorie deficit(Ive been doing it for more than 3 decades) . calories still count when fasting
-
a true plateau is 6-8 weeks with no loss. so keep going and see what happens.

I get men and women are different. but if a person doesnt have enough fat to lose and are eating too little calories trying(big deficits) then what IS going to be lost? now if a person has 20 lbs of true fat that may make the big difference but Im not talking about that I should have clarified. Im talking about those with…
-
no there isnt a limit to fat loss but your body only burns so much a day how much Im sure will vary person to person. but when you dont have the fat stores to lose its not going to come off fast even if you are cutting calories really low. which is why I said being too aggressive with weight loss.and even with enough…

the types of foods you eat have no bearing on weight loss ,how much of anything you eat does. you need a calorie deficit to lose no matter what you eat. sure a well balanced diet is better for your health granted but even if you eat nothing but healthy foods you can still gain weight or not lose in this case eating too…

it is safe to lose 1-2 lbs a week IF you have plenty to lose. they fail to tell you that.trying to lose 1-2 lbs a week when you have say less than 20 lbs to lose is asking for issues.the less fat stores you have to help with the weight loss the more lean mass you are going to lose being too aggressive with weight loss. if…

and even if you lose 10-15 lbs of water whats that accomplishing? water will come back. you must not have a lot of water to lose if you are only losing `1-2 lbs a week in water. you want to be losing fat and not water, weight fluctuates day to day too so. you cannot compare yourself to others or you will set yourself up for…

yes it is used for asthma so is primatene. they used to have the inhalers too but last I knew they discontinued them due to the propellants being used were banned

keto was a big NOPE for me in more ways than one. I wont go into it here as I have posts all over about my experience with it.
-
those meds I mentioned are sold and contain ephedrine but are behind the counter too. but those are the only ones I know of that contain it. there may be others not for asthma that have those things in it.It varies from state to state too and their laws as I looked up different states in the post I posted above and it does…
-
no Im talking about ephedrine products too . http://www.namsdl.org/library/80C44CE7-1C23-D4F9-74E686FED14B0ED4/ bronkaid has ephedrine in it. not pseudoephedrine. I know what my state will card you for . many drugs are behind the counter here due to having ephedrine and pseudoephedrine in them. bronkaid being one of them…
-
actually in most states ephedrine containing products are sold behind the counter which means you have to show your license and sign a thing and they limit you as to how much you can buy. most people use it to make meth which is why they put this in place. They also watch you to see what other items you may be buying that…

toning happens when you lose fat over exisiting muscle. weight lifting alone doesnt do that. and there is no need for a post workout protein shake or a need to add those ingredient either. you also dont need BCAAs. you can get what you need through food alone. so no
-
now this you would have to choke down with a spoon lol
-
starvation is when you dont get enough calories and your body needs energy so it will use your fat, lean mass, muscle(including organs) and break them down into fuel to run your body.you keep losing weight and in extreme cases your organs and body will start to shut down and death will often follow if taken too far. not to…

oohhh this made my day I have broad shoulders and a smaller waist. yay me lol

5:2 is you eat maintenance calories 5 days a week and the other 2 days you eat 500-600 calories. I mean you can fast where there is no food but who wants to do that? I would pass out if I didnt eat at all (but thats me)
-
also they were having issues with the syncing so not sure if its fixed now or not
-
If I do cardio I get hungry if I lift weights I dont get hungry until the next day and by then In ravenous and on the days I lift I definitely eat enough calories.

I get ya

weight fluctuates so you need to understant that and if you only want to lose 10 lbs you are going to have to be extremely accurate in your intake of food and a food scale can help that. you need to stick with it. and when you exercise you WILL retain water to help repair muscle. so get a food scale and weigh ALL solids…
-
I do walk my dogs and do housework but thats as far as its went lol. my motivation slacked off some.
-
ive slacked off the last 2 months or so so dont feel guilty I know I can still lose without exercise so.
-
well I will wish you luck with it and maybe it will be easier for you to stick with. for me it just comes naturally and has since I was a kid. so who knows.
-
actually it can stay off if she stays in maintenance. to gain it back and more she would have to be in a surplus of calories(over her TDEE). she can do a recomp, or a bulk which is a surplus of calories and will come fat gain,BUT she can gain muscle and if she were to do a cut she may see her abs,but she may have to get…
-
you are supposed to eat back your exercise calories. your net is supposed to be 1200. if you arent losing anything and its been 6 weeks(a true plateau is 6-8 weeks) then you are eating more than you think Ive been there done that and its really easy to do especially now with food labels changing ALL the time and portions…
-
the last 5 will come off very slowly. so why not recomp now and gain some muscle and lose some fat? you have to be patient. and once you get the weight off why do a long term recomp? why not just run bulk and cut cycles? I think the longer you recomp the less results you will see over time. heck with only 5 lbs you could…

how do you know you are eating that little? do you use a scale? if you were truly eating that little and working out the weight would not be creeping up. its not what you eat but how much for weight loss. and its really easy to eat more than you think if you are not weighing everything(solids and semi-solids) in grams on a…
