Hi I have recently started to do brisk walks to help with my weight loss but since I have started 3 week ago I haven't lost any weight. I am having 1,200 calories a day and walking for about 90 mins a day . I am finding this very disheartening.

How's your logging? Using a food scale? You could still end up having a sudden drop, but that would also depend on how much left you have to lose.

Hi. I'm logging all my food and making sure I weigh everything. I would like to lose another 2 stone. I've lost 4 stone up to now. Oh well I will keep persevering lol.

Any time I make a significant change to my exercise I find I retain a lot of water for a little while. Drinking more water helps. It'll get in line before long :)

I'm another vote that you're probably seeing temporary water weight from the increase in exercise activity. It's temporary, it's not fat (so not worth worrying about), and your fat loss will outpace is pretty soon. Hang in there! :)

a true plateau is 6-8 weeks with no loss. so keep going and see what happens.
