  • So should we start a group or maybe I’ll just make a thread on my wall each week and we can check in with our progress? Thanks for the add everyone! I went to a bbq for dinner and said no to multiple offers to refill my wine glass because I’m dedicated to my 2 lb goal this week!
  • Awesome! I’m so happy to have new friends! Let’s do this, 2lbs a week for the next 10 weeks!
  • I hear that if you lift it off the ground for a few seconds it will reset as well.
  • Are you WFBP or just vegan? If you are ok w/ eating some processed foods the Gardein chickn sandwiches are ah-maze-ing. I also drink a Vega protein drink with cashew milk and a few handfuls of spinach in the blender and it fills me up for a while.
  • I’d look up unsweetened passion tango iced tea, then however many pumps of s/f vanilla, then estimate how much heavy cream they used. Usually the individual ingredients will be in the database if your particular drink isn’t.
  • I’m a Diet Coke addict. I don’t understand how diet soda can count as water. When I drink it it makes me sooo dehydrated, I suppose if you drank seven glasses of water and one 12 oz can of soda you could count it as water. Definitely not the other way around though.
  • Hi, I’m looking to lose about 70lbs also. I looove the gym! I’ll add you!
  • Hi, yo-yoer here too. I've lost the same 20lbs at least 4 times with the help of mfp. I've always wanted to be a runner, I'll add you and hopefully get some running tips from ya!
  • I dunno if you have a farmers market in your city but some of the stands at my local market offers last week's produce at a discount. For example, cherries picked the same day will be $4/lb. Cherries from last week will be $1/lb. I saw where you said frozen veggies can be expensive at your store, do you have a friend with…
  • I get disappointed every now and then. I've been at a plateau for three weeks and it's hard not to give up, especially after losing 20 lbs in two months. I keep reminding myself that if I keep it up I'll reach my goal by this time next year (I have 40-60lbs to lose, I'm not set on a goal weight yet).
  • @sjgold123 , have you tried making your own and using less oil? It's really simple to make. Sometimes I just mash chickpeas and put them on toast with lettuce, tomato salt and pepper.
  • Talk to a dermatologist, there are so many fillers, lasers, skin tightening options out there. You're bound to find something that works for you. Choose health because that's something you can control, seek help from a dr. for the things you cant.
  • Chicken, cheese, bacon, and full fat dressing can easily add up to 500 calories, there are 500 calories in a big mac. If you have no cheese, grilled chicken as you suggested, light dressing or a smaller portion of dressing you could cut a few calories. ETA: all of these things are fine imo, I'm a make it fit your calorie…
  • That's because diets don't work. Whenever I cut out a food or label a food as bad I can't stop thinking about that food! How about instead of "dieting" you eat all of your favorite foods but in smaller portions. I love pizza, so I eat a lean cuisine pizza whenever I want (they're actually pretty good) if I'm craving a more…
  • Do you have a sister size? I'm a 36 DD or a 38 D. Maybe you can wear a size up or down, your old 34 C might not fit (if it's older, been washed or stretched out a lot) maybe a new one will? Congrats on the weight loss!
  • A light Frappuccino is a tasty way to go. They're usually the sweetest and have a mild coffee flavor. If you really like the taste of coffee, an iced caramel macchiato (sp?) can be made light and it's really good. If you're looking to indulge, their current special flavor is double fudge bar Frappuccino, a tall is 360…

  • Maybe weigh everything when you start, then weigh the marinade that is left after you've taken the meat/veggies out and subtract that number from the first number. I've thought about doing that with oil when I fry things.
  • Diet dr. Pepper is awesome, or I love unflavored sparkling soda with sugar free syrups (the kind you flavor coffee and Italian sodas with) or you can muddle fresh fruit with the sparkling water. I love fizzy drinks, I don't think I'll ever give the. up completely
  • I just went from the flex to the Alta and I love the Alta so much more! It gives you lots more info without having to open the app, it has a clock, and the battery lasts longer. Another thing that I didn't care for on my flex is that the band's always looked dirty after a few days, no matter how often I tried to clean…
  • You already have lots of good advice for what to eat, my suggestion is to not eat rice! I stupidly ate it, thinking it was a soft, but it gets stuck in the holes and is no fun to clean.
  • It sounds like you know what to do are are doing a great job! How long have you been at your plateau? If it's just been a few weeks that is totally normal. If it's been a few months and your weight hasn't budged then definitely talk to your dr. Are you weighing daily or weekly? I like to chart my daily weight in a seperate…
  • Your body is on strike because you won't give it potatoes. J/k, potatoes are my favorite food, I'll make them fit my micros no matter what I have to do! I agree with queenliz99, your calorie intake is higher than you thought or you aren't burning as much as you think or both.
  • Skinny jeans here too! I love them now!
  • I've "only" been at this for 46 days, I have a long way to go before I hit my goal weight, but what is keeping me going when I want to quit is my accountability buddy! My cousin and I are the same height and we started around the same weight (5'6", 210-220 lbs). We text in the mornings when we've reached a new goal, send…
  • Rogaine for women really helps (if you've ruled out all medical problems ) it took me three months to see new growth.

  • "Snickers", stuff a date with crunchy peanut butter, drizzle or dip in melted chocolate. So good!
  • I bought it a few weeks ago and still haven't started (We never watch dvd's so it's taken me a while to find the Xbox and all the cords) How do you like it?
  • 20 lbs, my hubby mentioned that I was looking really good the other morning. Then a couple hours later he called and asked if I wanted to go to dinner this weekend. It might seem little but he has never planned a date night and we have been together for almost 10 years, lol!
  • I would eat more if I felt hungry but I wouldn't try to make up for those days by making myself eat more if I didn't feel hungry.
