first sip- I have been doing those exercises, but I have been eating poorly, now that I think about it. I'm going to get some real weights(not soup cans) and start bumping that up and being even more careful of what I eat. Thanks guys for the reminder. I didn't even think about resetting my settings to sedentary.

I've always been told the slower you lose weight, the harder it is to gain the weight back. I think you're on the right track, but maybe up your calories to 1400-1600 per day, or you're going to starve. Make sure you are cutting way back on carbs, up your lean proteins. I started running 6 months ago and I love it. I ran one 5K in March and I have 2 more in Sept. I'm going to do. I've never been athletic so doing something like this just makes me feel like I'm accomplishing something. Keep up the good work. :)

I think you're being fair to yourself, and I think your family just wanted to do something special with you. Why not have an alternative like go see a movie or something? :) And good for you for sticking to your guns and having self control. I'm not sure I could do it.

Well, before I got fat I lived in a much smaller house and had no kids. Then I had kids and moved to a bigger house so now my cleaning is MUCH different from before. But I like your idea of logging it and not eating back the calories. :) I think that's a good medium to making me feel productive and that I'm still dieting…

It is under Cardio. I work up a sweat (I work really hard to make it exercise because otherwise I don't have time to work out). And my cleaning days are usually days where I don't go on my run.

I agree with previous poster. You're basically feeding yourself processed chemicals and junk. Fill up on fruits, veggies, and whole grain. Skim milk is good too. Up your workout by 5-10 minutes and I think you'll see results.

I have a rule in my house that you can eat all of the fruit and vegetables you want. I just cut down on bread and pasta (my biggest weakness) and that has helped tremendously. Fruit and Veggies are the most important thing you can eat,so have an apple or banana or berries. :)

When I was pregnant with my 1st, it was sourdough bread with lots of butter and sugar on it. That and V8 juice and M&M's at the same time. Yummy.

The more water you drink the more you'll lose. I lost 4 pounds in a few days because of water weight. I wasn't drinking enough and it is so hot here (103 today, normal temp, not heat index) and I just swelled. I'm small build I'm 128 and in size 4 pants Weight loss goal is to get to 115 pounds I'm 30 and have 2 kids I had pre-eclampsia with both so I have a lot of stretched out skin from that.

Thank you for all of your replies. I have calculated my TDEE and I don't eat near that many calories in a day normally. Maybe I do need to eat a little more. I appreciate your guys' help!
