FKN hilarious - cuz I scrolled back to see what dudes were here. LORD and Reverend Jim knows I need water. Probably some holy water. :D

Nice progress. Incredible commitment. It takes work and yours paid off. You look great! Keep on smiling :D

Take some Kleenex. Your heart and spirit will "feel the burn" more than your knees I'm guessing.

@bjohs - I read your blog the other day. Thank you for sharing. I knew I couldn't be the only person motivated by "it". @starkle09 - you already know I got big plans for my HRM. :-) Thank you wonderful people for letting me know I am not the only one who did the search. I'm off to Amazon.com to get some books on Tantra.…

I'm a joiner. By that I mean I love joining groups - Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc, Toastmasters, US Navy, and a few other groups. Hell I was born in a group of two (Hey Twin!). Maybe it's highschool...maybe it's the birds of a feather deal...don't know. Pointless response to my MFP friend's pointless post and I hope the…

it's ok to cry and it's ok to be scared and it's ok to keep going back until you get what you went for in the first place. my sisters and I talk on the phone to each other sometimes when we work out. once we really get to breathing hard and sweating we start laughing. i know that my twin sister who lives 6 miles away isn't…

You have done a fantastic job with your weight loss! I admire your husband's love and acceptance of you at any weight or size. That speaks volumes to his character. You definitely picked a winner. He will eventually adapt healthy eating habits. AFG is a country of lack and deprivation. The adjustment from there to here…

Public library and internet can be your best friends. Also depending on what type of phone you have there are apps that give you ideas of what to make based on what's in your cupboard. Whole Foods has an app for iPhone/iPad. The section "What's on Hand" is pretty cool. You type zucchini and then they will give you meal…

The only reason I even remotely get it is my place of employment. When I got hired on at the Dept of Public Health in the Nutrition Program I was all about the drive-thru. It wasn't until after I drank the organic, gluten free, fresh squeezed "kool aid" that I started to get it. My environment began to shape my food…

At first I thought this was a joke. A shake at Popeyes? Chicken and biscuit shakes? Silly, I know.

Level 2 is tough...for real. Level 2 is tough. I would recommend trying it once to see how you feel. Perhaps alternate between 1 and 2 for about a week. Be mindful of your knees! Level 2 is much higher impact. That's all the advice I have. Now, let's get shredded! =0)

Just what I've been looking for. I want to be strong and fast. BMI is where I want my real change to be measured. I am currently at 25.6%. Not sure how to decrease that number except to lose weight and weight train. I went from 107 - 149lbs with pregnancy 15 years ago. I have not been able to get under 130 since then. The…

What a great topic. I just started a summer book club with some of my girlfriends. We are scheduled to read The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin. Currently reading - Men Are Like Fish: What Every Woman Needs to Know About Catching A Man. (super long title) Currently listening to - The Now Habit at Work by Dr. Neil Fiore…

I was thinking the same thing about the "fat" clothes. :*( Sooooo weak at Ronald and Donald... Where are all the Twins? *bump*

It takes a lot of courage to tell your story to a bunch of strangers. The risk of ridicule and judgment can be scary. The most wonderful thing about MFP is the support system. You've had success at making great decisions. Make one great decision today to protect your heart...and then set out to do it again tomorrow. No one…

Pardon my ignorance but what does NSV mean? :blushing:
