Hi! My name is Kathy! I'm 23 and I'm from NYC. Today was day 1 of 30 Day Shred for me and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Maybe I made it seem a lot worse in my own mind. Don't get me wrong, it was difficult for me to get through, but I felt like I accomplishes something afterwards.

I wish I'd practice chewing my food and putting the fork down after every bite. Its still tough for me to do that (I'm 1 month post-op) Also, practice not drinking anything while you eat, that's been difficult for me too. Good luck!! :)

Today is W3D1 for me and I'm very nervous about the 3 min run. I could hardly do 90 seconds last week. I'm not sure if this is going to end well.

W2D2 done!! But to answer your question, the 30 seconds made a big difference for me. That could be because I've never jogged before. Other than jogging for 30 seconds more, you also walk for 2 minutes. It may be a different story for you though.

Take your time. The fact that you are still doing it is what matters. Sometimes after the jogging section I have to walk slower than usually just to breathe normally. It happens to all of us. Good luck this week :D
