  • I weigh myself daily so that I can try and understand how certain foods are reacting within my body. If I fluctuate really high the next day knowing I don't eat a lot of salt, then most likely my body didn't like that food and can't handle it. I am doing LCHF.
  • There are a ton of things you can do at home. I would google the Workout of the day. Ive done that before and got a whole list of things such as jumping jacks, planks, etc. Hard work, but its worth it.
  • Way to go! Ive been doing this for almost exactly ninety days now and only lost 20lbs! Youre doing awesome!
  • I used to have gastritis attacks frequently when I had any kind of high fat or fried foods. I cut them out after realizing that was what was aggravating it. Since then, I have had only one and that was a ten year period.
  • Ten pounds in five weeks is fantastic! Ive lost only 19 pounds in three months. Granted, I am doing weight training so I expect to have a slow loss, but today I was measured by my trainer and found that I lost 10 inches all over in just 30 days! I have constant plateaus but Im in a different mind set this time around and I…
  • Oh my goodness yes! I just fought with my fiance over this same thing this morning, lol. I buy off the wall things that I think he wont eat. Although we both eat clean, I like to have different things that cost a little much sometimes and since I paid for it, I want it for myself. By the time I want it, its gone! Grrrrrr!
  • Oh, and you only need a few servings a day and it definitely does NOT have to be spaced throughout the day.
  • You can put baby spinach in your protein shakes...cant even taste it. You can try all kinds of recipes with quinoa. Its not so tasty by itself, but made with other things its awesome. Just start trying new veggies...Im sure there has to be one you will love eventually.
  • Yes, and I love them and now have my picky fiance eating them as well. We dry fry them and stir fry them. Just like noodles in my opinion.
  • I also recently kicked my caffeine habit...only because my trainer suggested I do only powdered sugar free coffee mate instead of my usual dairy creamer. Its pretty disgusting, so I started drinking less and less coffee until I actually forgot to even make it anymore and realized I didnt need it anymore. This is coming…
  • If I were you, I would start some heavy lifting to add muscle. Then, give yourself a year after you reach your goal weight and then see where you are at to see which area (if any) still needs plastic surgery. Ive heard alot of people do this and change their mind because it doesnt look so bad after that.
  • You dont have to do a crazy fad diet...but get rid of all those processed foods and replace them with REAL complex carbohydrates. Try quinoa, old fashioned oats, brown rice, etc. Add more veggies and more protein.
  • Wish I knew! Ive lost 17lbs so far and I swear they are getting bigger. :-/
  • I wondered the same thing, but two and a half months ago I RE-started this weight loss journey, but this time I decided to get a personal trainer. I am very fortunate that I work at a gym and that the trainer agreed to do this for free for me. I train with her three days a week. We do HIIT and Cross Fit. Ive only lost…
  • bump for later
  • I really dont know what they meant by "sick". Im assuming that since I work at a gym, I apparently have no business being fat. lol Therefore, I must be sick....*shrugs*
  • Oh, Im also directly related to Agnes Moorehead (actress, Grandmother on Bewitched). GGG Grandmother...something like that. lol
  • Im a direct decendent of the Mccoys (Hatfield & Mccoys).
  • Aww, thanks Lhather...I know Im being sensitive. He is a good guy. I know he meant well. I will give him a hug and a thank you. I still feel down about it. I know I shouldn't let peoples opinions matter, and for the most part I usually dont. But Ive been working my butt off lately and just wasn't expecting that. I get…
  • I take CLA, L-Carnitine, Fish Oil, and a multi-vitamin.
  • Weigh it AFTER it is cooked. If you weigh it before, you still have water/salt/fats in the chicken that will partially come out after cooked.
  • I FINALLY broke mine today. My trainer has been kicking my butt this week. She told me that doing the same exercises and eating the same foods are what got me into an early plateau. She had me change up my foods for two week and change my exercises up. She also said to have a "cheat meal" once a week and I was a stubborn…
  • lean chicken breasts cottage cheese baby spinach leaves egg whites protein shakes strawberries pb2
  • I put 2 Tbsp in my protein shake, or I put 2 Tbsp in 1/2 cup of plain greek yogurt along with 1 scoop of chocolate protein shake mix (sooo good), or I put it in my oatmeal. Its really very good as long as its mixed in something, but plain mixed with water doesnt do it for me.
  • I was addicted to all my flavored creamers. But my trainer advised me to switch to Coffee Mate Sugar Free powdered creamer to eliminate the dairy. Since Im not overly fond of it, Ive actually cut my coffee intake altogether. I used to drink 6-8 cups a day! Now Im down to 1 or 2.
  • I try to keep mine below 100 per day...I rarely go over 50 to be honest. But, I was told by my trainer/dietician that I should start incorporation complex carbs into my diet. Im eating quinoa and orange lentils, so Im up to 78 so far today. I will see what happens.

  • My supplements and morning protein shakes make me nauseous during my workouts, but it subsides soon enough.
