Foods that upset your tummy during a workout

A few years ago, at school, I had pizza for lunch. 2 small slices. BAD IDEA! I ate around 12, and had soccer practice around 3:30. The pizza didn't sit very well on my stomach and I got sick in the middle of running. I also used to drink diet coke during my practices...that was also a very bad idea. I was very young and didn't know what I was doing. These are two things I can't have prior to working out, even if it's hours before.
What foods can you not eat before you work out because they upset your stomach?

    My supplements and morning protein shakes make me nauseous during my workouts, but it subsides soon enough.

    Broccoli. Holy cow. I tried to run last night after having obviously too much of it at dinner. I thought I was going to die. No more broccoli before working out for me!

    I must work out on an empty stomach otherwise I will upchuck. So my answer would be everything.
