I'm new to crossfit, only one week, overweight and 57 years old. Talk about the weakest link. All the rest of my group is so encouraging and cheering me on. I think a different box would be worth looking into.

I like the confidence change in all the pictures.

Started crossfit this week. Went three times. Motivated to lose, because doing a pull up will be a lot easier at 135 (my goal) than at 173. Every pound I lose will make the activity easier.

I just took my first on ramps class today. I think I'm going to love it. The entire class today was about good form, safety, and that until I proved I could do a move in control, safely, I had to use modifications.

I've been transitioning to plant based, and noticed a huge difference in the IBS. Dairy is a trigger.

Bodybuilding.com has some beginner programs by some of the best trainers and are free. I also like Oxygen magazine. Keep on mind you can gain weight by lifting, but will be smaller.

I am currently seeing one. She has been educating me on how my body handles various foods, has helped with my macros, holds me accountable.

I'm. Currently working with a registered nutritionist. 1200 calories is too low for your weight. She has my macros at 80 to 100 g carbs and 100g protein, 1300 to 1500 calories ( I weigh 170) Macros do matter. Carbs fill up your glycogen stores, when your body reaches it's max for glycogen the extra goes into your fat…

52 and want to loose 20lbs by the time I reach 53 in September. My trainer suggested I use this site, so he can log on and see what I am eating. I would love to connect with others ont he same journey
