I don't have any problems searching things, sometimes I'm more specific and sometimes just use generic but there are plenty of foods to choose from when you search for something.

If you were snacking on pickles, pepperonis and cheese strings, that sounds like a ton of sodium in a few days which for many people would be a weight gain, at least water weight. I'm just researching keto but I think sodium would be something to watch out for.

This....so many factors play a role. It's not that many really when you factor in the exercise.

Challenge yourself with something. ....for example, drink 8ounces of water before having a treat, do so many jumping jacks before a treat. Just don't keep the temptations around. I buy thinsations,;100 calorie packs of treats. They are good and a nice evening treat to look forward to.

Whether it actually makes a difference or not, I do lose weight when I consistently drink 8 -10 glasses of water a day.

How much water are you drinking? Do you weigh and measure your food? How much sleep do you get? These are all possible factors. Glad you are back on track and motivated to make long term changes.

Make muffin tin omelettes for the week. Add various veggies and bake in the oven. Add some cheese, whole grain toast with peanut butter and you have a very healthy and easy to make breakfast. Vary what you eat with the omelette if you don't like the same thing.

I also like Leslie Sansom, I put a DVD in my laptop and watch tv at the same time. I also like the free steps on the Wii. I got a simply fit board for Christmas and use it and watch tv as well. It's a great cardio workout plus is good for abs.

Not necessarily a cocktail but I often drink Smirnoff Ice light, 80 calories and same size bottle as a beer. Get it poured in a glass and add ice, you could get 2-3 drinks out of it depending on the glass. Add a lime or lemon wedge on the glass if you want to make it look fancier.

Snacking can be good if you have healthy snacks in the right size ready to eat. I always save 100-200 calories to have later in the evening....a package of Thinsations works well for me, only 100 calories. I can't go to bed hungry so something like that works. Wow, you ladies sound awesome...very supportive and motivating to each other! I just turned 50 and have gained about 4 pounds in September....on top of slowly gaining most of the year. Sugar is the worst but picking at stuff all day leads to many calories that are too useless to ;log by themselves. I weighed in today, I tend to be posting my results on Wed....doing the happy dance here, just under 160, haven't been that since Dec 2014!! Think it's a combination of exercising more and Plexus. 8 days until we leave for Miami, can't wait for a 10 day vacation!

Can't believe it is Saturday and I am still feeling crappy!! I rarely get sick and even with colds, only lasts 2-3 days. sorry everyone, I wasn't feeling good on Sunday and by Monday evening, it turned into the flu. I am up but just barely and going back to bed for a bit. Hopefully by tomorrow, I will feel much better.

Wow, time to refocus, the past week was a bit rough....family member had a triple bypass and is still not out of the woods yet. We were away for that for 3 days but getting better today....did 2 miles on the treadmill at dinner time. We all started out strong, spring is coming, hopefully, so bring on the challenges!
