Ok maybe I should aim to lose a pound a week and see how I go; in all honest will probably lose more because I have been over eating so much and this is a big change and I have over 4st to lose!! What do you think?

Thanks will try aim to eat half the exercise Cals, the 1200 is what mfp calculated based on my desk job and wanting a 1kg/2.2lbs week loss

Pppermint tea really helps and als strangley drinking more water helps flush out the water being retained :)

I hear you guys = esp on the over eating part!! I have such a warpped relationship with food and with secret eating!!! I struggle so much and can go from being in control to asting as if I have never seen food! Really have no idea how to get over it? any tips?

Might be a good idea to do lower back excercises to strengthen those muscles as well

Thanks for all the tips I love to cook and have a library of books at home but with work, gym and commute the weeks fly by and I tend to sitck to tried and tested when I am in a hurry!! there is a bridge programme from 5k to 10k you can probably print it off fromt he runners world website but if you want an app yyou will need to pay for it well done though amaxing achievement I am only on run2 of week 4 - can't imagine running for 25 minutes!!

I think a healthy way is meal replacement shakes btw meals - so doubling calories intake but without large portions or fatty foods..? Like slimfast or Herbalife

Yes will be using MFP for food tracking for sure - but need something more personal as I have a lot of emotional issues surrounding food and the battle of to binge or not to binge! This way I will have something to focus on in the evenings when I may have an urge..... Will definitely keep on here too though - thank you
