Hi Lindy - I'm not a natural runner but i do like the fact that it gets you outside and that it's free to do. my first ever non-stop 5k was over the humber bridge and back - think the idea of being able to brag that i've done that helped me manage it - it was SO hard to do.... maybe i should put that on my list of things…

Eliza what you describe sounds like sleep apnea to me - i have a couple of male friends who have it... I'm not a Dr so could be wrong but you might want to look into it? Vix

without seeing your diary it's guesswork - but my guess would be that you are 'starving' your body - as you're not eating enough of the right things - it thinks it's not getting enough nutrients and then holds onto what it can... i did this and had to actually up what i ate to lose weight....
-
I plan ahead too - so i log in every morning and complete the day before whilst entering what i do know i'll be eating that day... with a bit of practise it gets really easy... and seeing how 1 bottle of orange juice compares to another can be really handy when you're shopping.....

i go to a class and it's on tues, weds and fris... so that's when i go if i am not doing anything in particular at a weekend i try and go for a walk or hike with a friend or 3... and sometimes i even get my wii fit out.... even went for a run(jog/stagger) in the park last week as one of the classes was cancelled... so yes…

log everything and look at it - i found i was overdosing on wheat carbs and starving myself of protein... once i saw that and adjusted my diet to something a lot more balanced the weight came off and is staying off (currently got rid of 2.5 stone and wanting another half to go) I also love dancing - so found Zumba - it's a…

i usually assume whoever asked the other on the date is the one organising the date and should therefore pay.. however on a first date if the man has done the asking - if it's gone well i will try and offer to go halves but then if he insists on paying i then say "ok as long as you let me pay next time"... which usually…

I use PHD lean protein (just 1 scoop) on exercise days.... and i do think it's helped.... but if i had tried to up my protein naturally i think it would probably have been the same result (i am vegetarian and sometimes find it hard to get all the protein i need).... so use the protein shake as a boost. hey this is a great story and so true - i try and get to my calories every day - which i sometimes find hard to do - however what i do find MFP more helpful on is seeing that my diet is also balanced - i try to make sure i hit the right amounts of fat, protein and carbs as well as keeping to the calories and that alongwith…

I plateau-ed for 2 months - 2!!!!! it was so depressing, but my friends kept reminding me that i'd lost a good amount of weight already and not to give up.... just to keep on with my new regime, which i did and the weight started coming off again and has been slowly and steadily ever since... I plateau-ed having lost 23lbs…
