Yes I sure have. I think the problem is that I tried to start where I was at the end of my journey last time and expected to much too soon. I'm going to work on slowing it down and making the changes gradually instead of all at once and burning out. It's hard because my brain tells me I'm not doing enough unless I'm back…

This is all such great kind advice. I feel like my mental health is in check right now. I also know if can change quickly but I have a great support system and great tips and tricks I use. I think your plan sounds so relaxed and exactly what I needed to hear. I have no doubt I can do this if I stick with a realistic plan…

Thanks this group is very supportive and it really means alot. I have been logging food accurately except prepackaged foods I have not been weighing but I will start. I am definitely in it for the long haul and am not looking for a quick fix more a lifestyle change that's sustainable over time. Thanks again for the advice…

Thanks so much for your support. I will keep logging and figure out a workout routine that includes some down time some days and some lower impact activities. Yes I am premenapasul and I am sure it has some effect. I will keep going and see when I am in another 2 weeks. Thanks again!

Yes it sure is a mental game and as someone who struggles with anxiety and depression it can get tough. I keep holding on to the feeling I had last time I was losing and lost over 90lbs...I felt happy I had energy and I wanted to live and do all the things in life. Now not so much but I know I can get back there. The scale…

Thanks so much for the support! I do know that I can lose weight eating foods that are not great because that's how I started before and slowly changed my diet and lost perfectly. I do want to eat better for health reasons but I agree switching them out gradually is great because I feel like changing habits over time will…

Thanks for the encouragement. I don't plan on giving up my life is on the line. I think me new plan is to get more active without 2 intense workouts everyday and leave my calorie goal where it is while working on increasing more healthy fresh options for my food and see where that takes me. I think I am also going to…

Thanks for the kind advice. I will have to measure myself because I actually haven't and I dont really wear any clothes where I would notice yet mostly very stretchy clothes that fit me 20 or 30 pounds ago also. I know my processed food has sodium and I am working on adding more fresh options as I go. I am extremely sore…

I am just restarting at the same weight! I managed to lose 86lbs before years ago using fitbit and myfitnesspal, then I had a baby and battled depression and years later I have gained it all back. So here I am feeling defeated but also ready to do this again. I am not sure how to add people but I would love to be friends…

Love my fitbit chargeHr! I used to use a polar ft4 which I liked but it kept messing up after replacing it 2 times in a year I decided to try the fitbit chargeHr. I love that is does Heart rate without having to put a chest strap on...and seems mostly accurate compared to the numbers i was getting from my polar. I also…

I got my fitbitHR a couple months ago and love it! I am a 29 year old mom of 3. I have over 100lbs to lose. I already lost 86lbs in the past but then got pregnant and gained 50 back....I still have almost 40 of that I need to lose and its been 2 years! I feel like I'm finally ready to do this, currently I aim to hit 10000…

I do go to regular visits with my midwife. I have another one on Monday :) I was just curious to see what worked for others or what they were told. Not to take just anybody's info and use it, but to have many different advice, opinions and personal expereince of others. Also i have had 2 other pregnancies the first I…

I think I was misunderstood. I do not want to lose weight....and i do want to gain weight. I also want to continue to exercise because it makes me feel better in so many ways, same with eating a lot healthier.I am just curious what people think would be a good way to go about doing that....taking into consideration I am…

Today is my last day on the Push phase, next week I go into the lean phase and I am super excited!
-
I am using 29 pounds on some exercises like squats, and am only in week 2 and thinking I might be able to go heavier by week 4 but we will see.

Maybe you need to give your body a break from having restricted calories. Try eating to maintain for a while, and not stressing about the number on the scale. Just make healthy choices most of the time and only exercise becuase its good for you instead of to burn calories ( that can just be a bonus). Maybe you just need a…

I just finished week 2 of the push phase and I am loving it!

These are all great! I only have 1, but I like it. "focus on getting the hard work done, not the results that come from it, in this type of thought process, you will be stuck in the "watching paint dry" scenerio. One day you will turn that corner, and admire that wall youpainted 6 months ago! It will be an amazing day!"

Exactly thats why I was so skeptical at first, but it is really working for me! I added more nuts to my diet, peanut butter, and olive oil to try to get my calories up with healthy foods...Im sure others would have some more ideas on that too. Although it does make having not so good things easier lol. I try though besides…

Ok when I ran your hieght, current weight, and age into fit2fat I got this information...... Harris-Benedict Formula There are a few different methods to calculating yourbasal metabolic rate (BMR). One of the most popular, developed in the early 1900's is called the Harris-Benedict formula. Based on this formula, your…

Exactly! But if you add in your exercise calories when getting your number so 1800, instead of your BMR of 1500 then you dont eat back your exercise calories...I hope this makes sense! lol Did you get those numbers from the website link I sent to you?
-
If your BMR is 1507 then always try to NET 1507 and dont get lower. So that means if you workout and burn 300 calories you should eat 1807...which would only be a NET of 1507. I used http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/bmr/ . This site promotes eating how you would eat at your goal weight. I am currently eating 2000 which is…

Hi...I can totally relate to you! I started at 273 and 5'3. I am currently down to 199. I have platued for long periods 2 times once at 225 for about 1 month, and once at 206-203 for about 2.5 months. I broke my it both time by increacing my calories. I was very skeptical at first, but after watching the scale going down…

I am not an expert but I dont think it works like that. I think everyone would burn a different amount of calories for the same distance depending on speed, fitness level, age, gender, terrain ect ect. I would trust the HRM if all your information in it is correct.
