Have you ever heard the children's story of the turtle and the hare? The turtle even though he went slow won the race. I have found that if I jog a 12 min mile I can run 5 miles without dying but if I try to run a 10 min mile then I struggle to run more than 1 mile. Only ran 1 mile today but I ran it at a pace on the treadmill that I have never ran at. So, I feel good about it. I might run a slow long one tonight.

Sam, so glad your sticking with us. After reading the nice chatty posts and laughing so much my family now officially thinks I am nuts, I realized that we are a guilty bunch. Everyone is woried that they are the reason Sam was going to leave. I am glad to see its not the Black Team that causes trouble in fitness paradise.
