Feel free to add me! I log daily and participate in strength training. It’s been slow and steady.

Happy for you! Sending all my good vibes!!

Ugh, same! I’ve been working hard...seeing changes with my body, but not a ton of changes where the scale is concerned. Sometimes it’s hard to keep up the momentum!

I’m so glad to hear that you went!!! Hopefully the fob issue will get sorted out and you can enjoy trying out the center. Years ago, I joined a new gym and was very apprehensive about going. I wasn’t fit, but happened to be working out in a smaller area of the facility with a man who was VERY fit. Feeling self conscious, I…

I’ve had a really crazy week and it’s been tough to stay motivated. I went to the gym today and really got a good workout in! I’ll be keeping at it!
-
Feel free to add me! I’m 35 and 5’2” as well. Finding those last pounds to be the most stubborn!

I totally get where you’re coming from! I log meticulously, exercise 4-5 times per week. I’ve only lost four pounds since August, ugh! My best advice would be to stay the course, be patient, be kind to yourself, and celebrate those non scale victories.

Feel free to add me! I log daily.

Thank you for having the courage to tell your story. Identifying a problem is the first step on the way to recovery. Sending you all my support and positive thoughts!

Add me! I log in daily with a diary open to friends.

5’2” and I have been hovering right around 138-140. Focusing more on building strength and how my clothes fit. After switching gyms and working out more, I dropped down from 150 lbs and 35% body fat to my current weight with about 25% body fat. Not a ton of weight loss, but got into size 4 pants when I was previously an 8…

I’m 35 and finally starting to feel settled in with a healthier lifestyle after years of trial and error. Feel free to add me!

I'm happy I saw this thread too. I used MFP pretty regularly over a year ago, but stopped because I was starting to get obsessive about counting calories. For the last year, I have been going to a wonderful boot camp place twice a week. In January, I drastically changed my eating habits and have (for the most part) been…

Generally, I do eat back my exercise calories...however, there are some days where I'm just not hungry enough to eat them all back. 100-200 calories doesn't seem like a huge deal. Listen to your body!

So glad to see all of the teachers on here!!! I am starting my fifth year as a school librarian...I am at a rural middle school in Western New York. It is really hard to stay on track with healthy choices - lots of faculty room treats and eating on the go. I'm hoping to keep up my summer running schedule into the school…

I love it!!! What a great feeling that must have been. Keep up the great work!

Hello! Our goals are very similar....feel free to add me - I'll do my best to motivate. Good luck on your journey! :)
-
Good for you!!! We're in the same boat...I've done three 5k races now, and never thought I'd be able to at first. Keep up the incredible work!
-
I can totally relate...I'm having good days and bad days and tend to beat myself up when I'm not living up to my own expectations. Just remember that getting healthy is a marathon and not a sprint - and we're all in this together!
-
Good luck everyone! Feel free to add me...I'll do my best to motivate!

I'm a teacher too! The summer has been a great time for me to focus and get my eating and exercise back on track. Good luck! Maria

Hi Bee, Just joined this site yesterday! I'm 27 and have been progressively gaining weight during my twenties. The combination of college stress followed by a job where I am sitting most of the time has not been helpful! I'm hoping that the meal tracker as well as the community aspect of MFP will help me to stay on the…
