I was just thinking protein powder. Prob 50+% of what I eat is sweet. Protein bars, peanut butter, shakes, sweet potatoes Also, fat is a valid macro, don't need to cut it.

I agree with everyone that it depends, but also wanted to add that a child with a sick family member frequently either acts out and needs to be watched closely or is almost too mature for their age with the weight of the world on their shoulders. I hope that girl gets to be a little girl.

I use almond milk for beverages and milk substitution. I think fake cheese is too "frankenfood" for my taste, but I'm only mildly lactose intolerance so I can have cheese occasionally.

And I find my weight change is exactly (within 50 cals) of what would be expected based on my food log and bodybugg, so I believe it is my true TDEE. Really, what matters is that you find conditions…

I wear a bodybugg, which puts me around 1600-1700 cals on a rest day where I work and don't do much. This calculator put me at 1900. 1900 is unreasonable.

Honestly, I'd ask him if he wanted to exchange presents. I suck at guessing stuff, so when in doubt, I ask. If you're super against that, I'd get a really small (physically and financially) present and keep it in my purse and only give it if he initiates gifting. Is that weird? Maybe.
