I really have no idea. I try all the tricks - water, exercise, gum, staying busy, etc. And they all work sometimes - but I've found nothing that REALLY helps. Maybe it's finding out what the real problem is - and fixing that. And consistency.

I've pretended to be "normal" for a LONG time. I only just recently started talking to my husband about it (with in the last two months) and I'd been having DAILY binges for at least a year and a half - and more sporadic binges for years before that. I've never talked with anyone else about it. My husband still doesn't…

I have no idea. lol Really, though, I'm not good at listening to those cues. I kind of ignore them on purpose I suppose.

A lot of times I'm just trying not to think... and I "zone out". And I'm thinking about what the next food I can put in my mouth is.

I've just recently starting Zumba - but I really enjoy it! When I've gone I burn about 600-650 cal an hour according to my HRM.

I'd just send my daughter for the time said on the invite - there's NO way I'd let one of my kids stay overnight at someone's house I don't know. But, I'm kind of a paranoid mom ;)

The scary part, to me, is in telling people that I have a problem. I don't admit my issues to many (IRL, where I have to SEE them) :/ Which could be why I still have issues. lol

It's sounds like you've made awesome progress - I can't wait until I can say I've been binge free for a week even! Don't let Valentine's day get you down - we all mess up, it's in the starting over that really counts.

Lock the kitchen? All kidding aside - I think you are already on the right track. Taking it one day at a time and not restricting. I think you need to figure out the WHY of the late night binge before you can change it. Good luck!
