  • I take it for diabetes. If you stop, the weight comes right back. Ill probably not stop as I need it for my blood sugar but I wouldn't bother if it was just for weight loss unless you intend on staying on it forever.

  • Muffin wt is 2 oz. That makes it 220 cal.
  • Diet or quit smoking one at a time. Exercise . Hard to quit both together.
  • Havent had one in twenty years and still dont want one. Do remember the cupcakes fondly before the quality went to pot.
  • How do you know its adrenal fatigue? You don't know unless you've had a blood test and your hormone is low and that's pretty rare. I know someone wrote a book about it and suddenly, everyone has it. I have (had) chronic fatigue for years. Never knew what it was caused by. Read every book written but then I decided to try…
  • It doesn't matter what kind of carb you eat, whether its white, whole wheat, etc. etc. Carbs are carbs. True, there are some that absorb a little slower, that being whole grains and vegetables as opposed to something like orange juice, which zips into your blood stream pronto, but when it comes to controlling your blood…
  • Nuts are high calorie. You can eat a few, but its easy to get carried away. Honestly, there is nothing crunchy that you can eat a lot of that either isn't high calorie or will make your blood sugar go crazy. A small bit of granola, a cup of popcorn, and that's it, and be sure its early in the day, not late. I've resigned…
  • Hi. I'm Lisa, type 2 for as long as I can remember, on insulin for as long as I can remember. This losing weight thing has been a challenge with the insulin, that's for sure. Also keeping blood sugars normal, sheesh. So much work.
  • Honest people. They are few and far between. I'm not talking about people who don't steal or gossip. I'm talking about people who got the guts to point out what's right in the face of adversity. People who are willing to lose something because they tell it like it is and don't care about the risk it brings to them. Those…
  • I think its more constructive to figure out what leads one to these behaviors, rather than just classify them as sins. Just calling them sins and vowing not to do it anymore doesn't give one any insight on how to change their lifestyle. I think that calling it sloth and gluttony, while being accurate, is an…
  • I always weigh more in the morning than in the evening. Some people are the opposite. I guess it depends on when you hold your fluids.
  • Lisa-chocolate, cigarettes (quit 2 years ago, but will always be an addict), killing valuable time on the computer, Criminal Minds, and carbs. I'm sure there's more. I'm trying to get addicted to exercise and housework but it's not taking.
  • Go to a good stylist. Trim it up to just below your chin .
  • Maybe good for me, but not good for anybody around me....
  • Jodi Picoult My Sister's Keeper. Oh, god, it was slow torture.
  • Www.whyquit.com. Helped me tremendously. Good luck.
  • add some low level cardio three times a week. I absolutely cannot lose weight without cardio.
  • I have nice friends but maybe there are people who are just a bit too nosey and like to pick on people. Honestly, I don't look at anybody's diary, I'm too concerned with my own. But sometimes people might give lousy criticism. There are some people who just think everything should be done their way and they have no problem…
  • You are being played. Have some self respect and cut him loose. Telling his wife won't help your situation, it will only destroy a family. If this guy loved you, he'd have left his wife already. So, yeah, it is that easy. Break up, change your phone number and start having a little self respect. Why a woman would want to…
  • Take on me.....I think that's what it was called. By some one hit wonder band.
  • I don't see the controversy. They are just boobs. Half of the entire world have them. (more than half if you count manboobs). People get nuts about the stupidest things.
  • To get off my *kitten* and exercise more regularly and with a little more
  • I wouldn't know. I don't keep too close track of all my friends to notice if someone dumped me. Seriously, I have other things in my life to worry about, lol.
  • My husband is like that too. I finally decided I didn't need his help or approval. I joined a place with child care and told him it either comes out of his paycheck or he is going to help me. He had no argument, but to pay for it, since he wasn't able (or willing) to help. Same with getting a housekeeper every week. They…
  • Quit cold turkey 21/2 years ago. Finally took off the weight I gained but I don't care. Best thing I ever did. You guys can do this, its hard but the rewards never stop. I've saved a few thousand bucks, too, lol. Whyquit.com and http://www.quitsmokingmessageboard.com/viewforum.php?f=3 are two sites that kick *kitten* for…
  • 1. Empathetic. Able to understand and empathize with others weaknesses and frailties. 2. Rational and critical thinker. 3.Smiles at me. Has a sense of humor like mine. 4 Maintains health but not obsessively. 5. Removes ear and nose hairs on a regular basis. Your standards do change as you get older.
  • I use a postal scale. Duel purpose, lol. Just put your empty dish on top, zero it out and it stays nice and clean and very accurate with a nice wide base of support for plates and things.
  • Sorry, being a diabetic, I drank and still do drink a fair amount of diet soda. My last bone density test was excellent. We cannot assume that her problem was from the diet soda without other factors being taken into consideration. One person does not a study, make. Unless you are drinking massive quantities, I really…
  • Really ticked off that I bought a kindle last year. Oh well.
