  • I had to get rid of it all. Thanksgiving is over time to get back on track :)
  • I counted calories about 9 or 10 years ago and lost 70 lbs. I have slowly gained it back over the years (more so in the past year or two due to added stress and, well, laziness...) I know the counting calories works. It's MATH. there are other factors of course but its MATH. I am back trying to do what I know works...
  • I drink my coffee with flavored hazelnut creamer. I’m willing to give up/restrict alcohol but I am NOT willing to change my morning coffee. If I do, I’d be in jail.
  • I feel like any flavorings I add to water makes it feel less refreshing and I end up still really thirsty with the other stuff.
  • My friend did one through OSU here in Ohio. She was very successful with it, lost a LOT of weight and is now going to school to be a dietetic technician. She really enjoyed the experience. She did not have health insurance at the time and I believe she told me it was pricey, like 600-800 a session. (3 or 6 month sessions I…
  • I prefer basic workout's without a gym anyways. Sit ups, jumping jacks, squats.. you can do all of it in the comfort of your own home and on your own time. Calorie counting is enough to lose weight but I am guessing that at 21 years old you want to be *fitter* not just skinnier. So do the calorie counting for the weight…
  • It would have been irresponsible of WholeFoods.. if she stated "I am a Certified Nutritional Therapist and this is my suggestion..". She did not, so her response to the thread should be taken as any...with grain of salt. What would actually be irresponsible would be the OP asking a question with not enough information and…
  • A LOT of weight come from my top--- Im losing weight again and starting to feel my boobs go down. When I had my initial weight loss before baby I went from a DD to a B cup. Plus side is that my tummy gets pretty small, too. My weight hangs onto my butt and thighs.
  • i don't understand how noodles are automatically "not clean". I guess that's why it is subjective. I prefer to eat organic and I try to pay attention to added chemicals in food. Doing that typically just makes me be more aware of whats going in my body and I try to make better choices.
  • I find this to be a struggle too. I work an office job throughout the week and three days a week I am a server. Days I don't serve I struggle to get steps in but i get about 12,000 steps on days I serve. I tend to just keep my calorie allowance the same and add "walking" under exercise.
  • Maybe try switching to iced tea and add a natural sweetener for the sugar?
  • i work in HR- keep in mind that many, not all, ask for a normal desk after awhile bc the standing is a bit much. just take walks on your breaks and get up and move regularly.
  • I would like to get to 188 (20 lb loss from January 7th) by the end of March. I am 192 right now so it might be a stretch. but WHEN I hit it I am going to get acrylic nails. and then when I hit 178 (30 lb. loss) I want to go crazy at PINK/Victoria's secret (BF works in the distribution center and gets 40% off)... I like to…
  • i'm 31. and while I understand that we aren't that old. I def see a difference in how easily it used to come off versus how easily the weight comes off now. Or maybe I'm just losing my memory hahah jk
  • to get into the 180's by end of March (hopefully). It feels like its coming off sooo slowly but in the end I will be glad I am doing this the right way.
  • I weigh-in daily but I don't really share it with anyone unless the number is good or bad and then my bf hears about it. Maybe if you notice you are having lower weigh-ins on Saturdays you could start weighing in two times a week on IG. That way your followers can see that weight loss is not linear and bodies fluctuate but…
  • Thursday night is usually my "cheat night" when I enjoy making dinner with my bf and daughter and drink wine and watch #tgit. I went to the store and bought healthy food, bought my bf beer but stood in front of the wine and couldn't decide what I wanted... so I just skipped it bc I wasn't craving it and why have all those…
  • I have a large bottom half so it takes me more like 10-12 lbs to drop a pant size currently. I just went from a 16 to a 14 with a weight drop from 208 to 198.
  • I lost about 20 lbs of water weight the week after I delivered. It was crazy. I still have swelling issues (I developed preeclampsia and the effects can last). I might try an epsom salt bath to see if it works. Thanks guys!
  • I’ve recently stopped drinking wine 2.5 weeks ago for weight loss. I contribute a lot of my weight gain to my wine habit. When my daughter was born I weight 170 and was very happy with my body. I started drinking wine regularly and went from regular bottles to liter bottles to 5 L boxes of wine. I always have some in my…
  • Today I am able to comfortably wear a pair of work pants that had gotten way too snug on me to the point where I stopped wearing them! Two weeks in :) Many more to come..
  • unfortunately, we have no say in where we lose weight from. My boobs are the first thing to go...
  • I gained 36 lbs. But I had preeclampsia. I was 171lbs when I got pregnant and checked into the hospital at 209lbs. At my one-week check-up I weight 173 lbs. So I guess I only really gained 2 lbs. This was a little more than three years ago. However, I weighed in at 209 last week soooo I gained it all back. Except this time…
  • no... it just lowers yourself esteem a lot of times. It did to mine for years. Now, I know I am attractive (not trying to toot my own horn) and if someone made a comment I would just let it slide off.... That way of thinking also caused me to overlook my weight gain. In my opinion, your doctor should really be the only one…
  • I just feel like when it's right it's right. I dieted for years before my last successful run at losing weight. In 2011, I went from 224 to 147 after many unsuccessful attempts at losing weight. One day...it just clicked and I was able to stick with it and then push myself harder. Since then, I have managed to gain back…
  • I work in HR and each year, for work, we organize a biggest loser competition. I am the point person on this challenge each year but I have yet to actually participate. This year I am doing. My diet started last week and runs through March 8th. I have a 20 lb. weight loss goal for the challenge and I am hoping I can reach…
  • This. You really should be eating above 1200 calories. I get caffeine headaches too. I even get "weekend headaches" because I wake up a little later on weekends and my body is used to having coffee at a certain time and when I don't, it's not fun. One of my goals is to wean myself off the amount of coffee I drink.…
  • Day 7. No alcohol. I don’t even miss it really. I’m surprised. It’s so much easier to stick to my diet too bc I’m not saving calories for wine. Which, ultimately leads to me going over and then giving up. So far so good. And down 5 lbs this week which is prob a combination of water weight and fat loss. In any case, I’m…
  • I am codependent. I tend to concern with things I should not be concerning myself with rather than myself. I am getting better...slowly but surely. Following.
