Tired After Exercising in Morning
I recently switched from exercising in the evening to the mornings. I usually get a burst of energy for one or two hours, but then my energy levels drop throughout the day, and I get very sleepy. Is this normal?

LISS vs HIIT
I previously posted about how my body was physically 'rejecting' high intensity cardio or HIIT, and some have suggested to limit HIIT to once a week and do low intensity cardio or LISS, along with a variety of other exercises, such as weight lifting, for the rest of the week . I always thought that high intensity cardio…

Too Much High Impact Cardio
For approximately two and one-half months, I've been doing high impact cardio as part of my weight loss journey. (I am now incorporating weight training in my exercise regimen). Recently, however, I physically can't do high impact cardio;my legs feel like wood and are stiff despite stretching before and after workouts. I…

Bodyweight vs Free weights
I want to get into resistance training as I only doing cardio at the moment and really need to tone up. Problem is I don't know if bodyweight resistance or using free weights better for beginner. I am also a bit scared of lifting weights as I am bad at form and have a tendency to hurt myself whenever I attempt to lift…

Gaunt Face Due to Weight Loss
I lost 10 pounds and am hoping to lose more to get to my ideal weight. Unfortunately, I lose weight in my face, which is already narrow and thin. I don't want to give up my weight loss journey, but I don't want my face to get thinner as a result. Has this happened to anyone before? If so, what can I do not lose weight in…

Uterine Prolapse and Exercise
I went to GP was told I have a prolapse (possibly uterine) which surprised and scared me because I thought this only occurred in women, who are post-menopausal, had kids, or are older than 50 (I'm 41 and don't have kids). I don't know what could have caused it. :/ Anyway, GP referred to GYN, who I will see in a few weeks.…

Cardio or weight training for weight loss over 40
I have about 20 lbs to lose and am finding it harder to lose the weight now that I am in my 40's in contrast to when I was in my 20's and 30's. I've always been more of a cardio junkie, but I read articles stating that women over 40's, seeking to lose weight, should incorporate more weight lifting than cardio. What's your…

Losing weight over 40
8 months ago, I was struck by a car and slowly but surely my body is healing. Unfortunately, I gain a lot of weight prior and during the 8 month period and am unable to do high impact exercise which I use to do before. High impact exercise easily aggravates the disc bulges and herniation which I now have. Has anyone lost…

What is your favorite exercise?
We all know that nutrition is a big part of weight loss, but exercise is also important. What type of exercise (dvds, walking, etc.) have you done as part of your weight loss journey?

Help! Trying Country Heat Again...
I've previously posted about trying Insanity again. However, the more I got into it, the more I realized that I'm not mentally or PHYSICALLY ready for it again. I tried many exercise programs, but I can honestly say that Country Heat is the only program where I had the most fun and look forward to doing every day. So…

Is there anyone that doesn't count calories in their weight loss journey.....
I started to monitor my caloric intake as part of my weight loss journey one month ago and very frustrated by it. The thing is that I don't want to calorie count for the rest of my life. I know that calorie counting can be useful for some people, but to me its frustrating as I start to get obsessive about, or worse still…

Not any losing weight/inches after 3 weeks of insanity
I've done the first month of insanity before and had good result after three weeks. However, I was unable to complete it due to a knee injury and regain all the weight I lost. I currently am doing Insanity again but have noticed no results. During my first round I limited myself to 1300 calories (which in all honesty was…

Have no willpower and no motivation to stop overeating
I'm in a bad slump. I need to lose weight but have no motivation too. I'm doing a lot of emotional eating and just don't have it in me to curb my appetite and start eating. I need to get back on an exercise routine but have absolutely NO motivation; it's like I just give up. I don't know what to do anymore.

Just started Insanity again...and need help
After a hernia surgery, three months ago, and a knee injury, I decided to get back in shape. I first tried Insanity, but stopped because I was hurting to much. Well, after reading stories about extremely overweight individuals and elderly people doing insanity, I started to do it again. The key for me is modifying a lot of…

Losing weight by walking...
Has anyone lost a lot of weight just by walking? A few months ago, I injured my knee while doing Insanity (which I strangely grew to like) and am unable to do any exercises bending my knee. I'm doing physical therapy now, but was told that I can do non-stenous exercises such as swimming. Well, I don't have access to a pool…

PX90 vs. Insanity
A few weeks ago I injured my knees while doing insanity. My doctor told me that this was common since the Insanity is very high impact and told me not do continue with it. I really liked Insanity, because of the weight loss, etc, and I'm disappointed that I can't continue with it. My knees are still healing, but I still…

Injured knees during Insanity workout
About 2 weeks ago I injured my knees while doing insanity. I am seeing a specialist next week to see the if I strain or tore something. Is there anything I can do to continue losing weight while my injury heals? I don't want this to slow down my weight loss.

To all you Turbo Fire users...
Do you find Turbo Fire to be a good way to lose weight/keep it off? I'm currently doing Insanity, which is kicking my butt, but am thinking about getting Turbo Fire after I finish Insanity. It looks really fun, but I'm a bit nervous that I won't be able to follow the exercise moves if I get it. What are your thoughts about…

On verge of quitting insanity
I've almost completed my third week of insanity and am tired of it. Not only are the moves hard, but I'm bored of the repetition. It isn't fun, and I dread it. I want to get fit and drop a few pounds so I fit into my clothes again. I'm so torn as I want to finish insanity, but I also want to quit. Need some motivation...

Exercise and acne
I've been told that exercise supposedly keeps a person's complexion clear, but it is the opposite with me. Whenever I exercise, I get breakouts. I know this isn't due to my diet or other factors as my acne occurs when I started an exercise regiment. Has happen to anyone?

Hello, Just started insanity workout and can't keep up routines...
I'm in my second week of insanity and am having difficulty do all the exercises and keeping up with the people in the tape. I really want to finish this to the end, but, at times, I'm not motivated to complete a weekout; I think this is due to the intensity of the workout. Has anyone done insanity before? did you get…
