The Rainbow Bridge and saying goodbye
After reading posts, I notice some of us have had the difficult decision to have to say goodbye to our best friends....I thought maybe we could have a special place here to pay homage to them. Everytime I held one of mine while they were cossing the Rainbow Bridge I left a piece of my heart behind. To all people on here…

Tick prevention
Just wanted to hear what people do for their dogs...mine is on Trio. And since she has Lyme disease I try to tell people to be careful. Believe me it is worth the investment...my dog will never reach her full potential. She is on antibiotics every day for 6 months, and the neurological issues are endless. She had it when I…

How to handle stupidity in the gym.... Help
Well there it goes.... Summer time so college students are back in my gym. And this new bunch is something else. I do not like to be interrupted in my workouts. And I do not take well to the condescending attitude whatsoever.... To be told to leave my sled loaded by a young dude because he wanted to warm up? Hell no. I…

Lat activation during pull ups
In order to develop my lats even more, I love doing pullups. But... Discussion today: I guess I am not activating part 3 of my lats ( lower point). By look? All 3 parts are well developped. But... I was told " feel them engage". Well I don't. I do feel most of the muscle as soon as it gets into position... Not the bottom…

My coach wants me to cut my cardio by 2/3 at least. And we are going full blast into strenght training, which I did but not so intensely ( deadlifts, squats, ...) .…

Muscles and body image (woman)
well, let's face it. I have muscles. Like a lot of muscles. I train hard, and eat right. So... My issue is the way people perceive me, and call me. Since I lift heavy, and have the muscles to prove it, i have been call at the gym "beast", " machine", " tank", etc... Always with admiration, true, but i dislike theses words.…
