Calories in CBD chocolate mini- looking for your best guess
My calories are set at 1340, which is tough for me and leaves me hungry at night. I just started counting again, so I know it’s going to take a little time to get used to. I’ve been eating a Patsy’s brand mini milk chocolate bar before I go to sleep to help me fall asleep, and I feel like it really helps. It may be in my…

Another dern Fitbit question
I have a Fitbit charge hr. I am within five pounds of goal weight and am attempting recomp by lifting heavy and keeping a small deficit so I aim to eat back most exercise calories. I lift with a lot of intensity, little rest, an hour and a halfish usually. I know everyone says this, but I feel like I work really freakin…

Warming up/mobility sumo dl's and squats
I was deadlifting conventionally for a while and then decided to switch it up and try sumo. I was stronger pulling sumo and I went a little too much, too fast and over did it. I seem to have strained an adductor. I'm taking a break from sumo and squats for a week or two (I don't know how long I'll last....not sumoing or…

Uneven calf doms
I never work my calves, so after doing so yesterday I figured I would experience DOMS. I was working on my pull-up and chin up and in between sets instead of standing around doing nothing I thought I'd throw in a few calf exercises. Probably not worth my time but my issue is this: one calf is waaaaay sorer than the other.…

Deficit or protein goal?
I have been trying to eat a gram per pound of body weight of protein each day. This is really the only macro I pay a lot of attention to bc I feel like my carbs and fat usually fall into place if I meet my protein. My goal is to maintain muscle mass in doing this and I feel like I've been successful. I know not meeting…

Less hungry now on cardio days
ive been at this for about 6 months. Wanted to lose 27 pounds. At first I did a ton of cardio. Then I cut back on cardio bc I realized that I actually ended up eating more bc working out left me so hungry. Then I made the shift to lifting and I love it, I'm addicted. A lot less cardio, although still doing a few HIIT…

Sodium
normally I come pretty close to my sodium goal that mfp has set. Yesterday I ate at a deficit but ate almost 1000mg above my sodium goal (!!!!). Today I have gained almost a pound? Could just 1000mg of sodium cause water retention?

If you are STRONGER than you used to be....
does that mean that you have more muscle mass than you did before? Everyone always says you can't gain muscle in a deficit, so what is happening when you are experiencing gains in strength? Does stronger = more muscle? I feel like this might be a stupid question but I am confused, so I'm going to ask anyways.

The stair master
first off, I love it. I'm working on my last 5-10 pounds so I'm trying to focus more on weight training than on cardio but I still try to fit in some cardio so I can eat a little more tbh. Also I feel like the stair machine must do something good for my legs and maybe my butt. The one I use has a calorie estimator but you…

Talk some sense into me.......
I ate at several hundred calories above maintenance....including two donuts. They were really tasty and I savored them but now I am beating myself up. My weight loss journey has been slow and steady but this last 5-10 pounds is just hard. I never blow it this bad. Will I never be able to eat without abandon again?

Oops
its 3:21 and I only have 169 cals left. I can take a walk later with my 9 month old but no way to get to the gym until tomorrow. I never get myself in this situation! Thoughts, suggestions, encouragement?

Chicken breasts
im sure this was covered somewhere in one of the announcements, but I can't find the answer to my question. Sorry if it's been asked over and over. I cook a lot of frozen chicken breasts. When do I weigh them? I read you should weigh raw but is that true if it's frozen?
