Uneven calf doms

I never work my calves, so after doing so yesterday I figured I would experience DOMS. I was working on my pull-up and chin up and in between sets instead of standing around doing nothing I thought I'd throw in a few calf exercises. Probably not worth my time but my issue is this: one calf is waaaaay sorer than the other. How can this be? Must it be crappy form? I don't know why this is bothering me so much. It's not like I'm walking around with one huge calf muscle and one baby calf muscle....still, I'm curious.

Yep. Everyone has a dominate side which is stronger because you tend to use those muscles more. Were you doing each leg individually or doing a machine that uses both at the same time? My guess is you were doing both at the same time and pushing more with your dominate side. Thus more soreness on that calf. Next time, try only one leg at a time. You can make yourself equally sore. Lol
