i am 173 lbs and 5'5 and I want to lose 2 lbs a week. Fitness pal calculated me to eat 1500 calories a day. I feel like that is too much and I will gain weight. Am I wrong

i have had breakfast lunch and dinner today. I still have 600 calories left and I am going to the gym. Usually I burn 300 calories at the gym. But I feel like if I come home and eat 900 calories I won't be able to and it will be too much help!! Also I'm not sure how I'm full if I still have 600 calories left
