How do I change how many calories I have each day

i want to put less calories for the amount I can have in one day because I think 1500 is too much.

On your startpage (Home), click on Goals and then Custom .
But why do you think 1500 is too much? What are your weight and height as it is now? MFP uses a NEAT-Method, which means you should eat minimum the 1500 and eat your exercise-calories.0 -

either custom goals or dial in a faster weight loss rate or low activity level into the guided goals setting.
