Considering Returning to Weight Watchers
When I broke up with WW in November although I did not rule out coming back however after a 6 month separation I did test drive a meeting yesterday and I have to admit I enjoyed it. The leader was upbeat and funny. Moreover the attendees were friendly. I've been to some that were cold as ice. I try to eat clean so I tune…

Knee injury
I swear I will never take a good knee for granted. About 4 days in to retirement I blew out my knee. I was supposed to go on extended vacation on Wedensday but have now postponed. Than God Southwest makes it really easy.

Weight Watchers and mfp together
I would like to hear from and friend people who are using Mfp and going to Weight Watcher meetings. The reason for this is that the only thing I miss from Weight Watchers is the meeting support. I'm thinking about rejoining. Mfp is easier to use the restaurant data base leaves WW in the dust. The downside to WW is the cost…

Fridge died
I've been without a fridge since Friday. The new one was delivered today and I am actually looking forward to grocery shopping tomorrow. It will be nice having home cooked healthy meals tomorrow. Normally Saturday is Farmers market day. Living out of a cooler is no fun

Tacking and ww
I fell off the tracking wagon after lunch but I did my 10,000 steps and cut off my eating by 7. Weight watchers always said that did not matter. I think they are wrong. Even on days I over eat I find I can minimize the damage by not eating at least 2 hours before bed

Hate the word Diet
People, especially at work will chide me "for always being in a diet ". I hate that word. I'm just trying to live a healthier lifestyle and that involves reducing my girth. I was really uncomfortable last night at dinner. I was swelled like a balloon. I was off track this week and missed most of my before work walks. I…

Farmer market
I'm going to throw some clothes and hit the Farmers market. Northern ca had good year round markets. I have chicken stock in the crock pot. Will de fat tonight and shred some of the meat for tacos . It's time to get some sunshine and quit feeling sorry for myself. Sure they changed the rules at work ( no eating at our…

Former Weight watchers
I'm still pretty determined not to return Weight watchers. It was getting nearly impossible to find aJgood meeting. I suspect at least one leader had an eating disorder and one receptionist looked anorexic. Yet I do miss some of the in person support. It's not a generally known fact but you can sit in on a meeting. Just…

Workplace
You would think not being allowed to eat at yor desk would help your weight loss. Well it is backfiring for me. I'm gaining. I used to keep cut up fruits and veggies on hand to munch between calls. I thought about filing a work place complaint but technically it is a company policy that has never been enforced. I…

Slimming World
Does anybody know anything about Slimming World? I know it is based out of the U.K. It's almost as old as Weight.Watchers. Right now I want to stay in the freebie mode. I poured enough money into WW that they shoulld have grandfathered me stock. But I am curious
-
Pizza
I have been craving some pizza. It is easy to find pizza by the slice during the week but my close by mall no longer has pizza by the slice. I don't trust myself with a whole one. Anyway I remembered I had some whole wheat pitas in the freezer. I thawed one out and lightly brushed with olive oil then I put it in the…

Beyond Weight Watchers
I found myself trolling the WW sights today. I'm not anti WW. Without them I probably would be candidate for bypass. However I have given them enough of my money for more than I want to admit. Plus I still believe for me at least I was way beyond the point of moving on. I actually went into the new year weighing less than…

Post holiday blues
I treated my husband and I to a before work leisurely breakfast. I pre tracked a half Benedict with fruit instead of potatoes and ordered a healthy salad with grilled chicken and dressing g in the side. Friday is date night so I packed healthy snacks for the work day. So far the day day was going well then I let work…

New. Year
I'm post Weight watchers.its sounds from the ads like they did a new plan change. I admit I'm somewhat curious but not enough to sign up again. I still get the magazine but I won't Renew when it expires. I am curious for any who are still going what changes they made in the program if any

Holidays
I'm up a little from the holidays but I'm going in to the New in track and weighing about 10 less than last year. My husband got me a bosu ball and I love. It helps with balance and core. I slipped into a pair of skinny jeans yesterday that were too tight size 14 and I think I need to pick up a size 12 this weekend . I go…

Former Weight watcher
Good to see there is a group for former , current and non weight watchers. I needed a break and for me mfp works very well. However although I quit a number of times I never had a fall back plan. Now I do. For me I have to have a plan and structure or I just tread water

Flu shots
I'm not anti-immunization. However, I am not convinced flu shots work. The worst case of the flu I ever got was from a family that everyone got the shot. Sometimes at work I have been the only one not to get the flu and the only one who didn't get the shot.

Weight watchers
I'm a former Weight Watcher and now I am using Mfp. I would say go with Weight Watchers at least for the time being if for no other reason to get a fix on good nutrition and support. I would still use mfp because it's free and tracks your nutrients. I would be careful about buying too many of their products. Some of them…

Former Weight watcher
I love the mfp recipe builder. It is so much easier than WW . I still struggle with tracking but the tools are there.

We are in to win it
I apologize if I have offended anyone. We are all in it to win. It . With me health and weight loss are my primary concern. But that being said we are all different and our paths may vary.

Former Weight watcher
I mentioned that I was interested in hearing from other former Weight Watcher but was sent a link to what looked like a current Weight Watcher site. Maybe I was too hasty in deleting it but I assumed because it had the Weight Watcher logo that it was a link to their site. Anyway I am repeating the request. I love all my…

Tracking
When I was on my multiple weight watcher journeys my biggest downfall was that I was not a very good track or most of the time. I was running across the same problem with MFP until I discovered that I could easily put food combinations in my recipes and save them for later. Wow this was a fairly complicated process on…

Former Weight watcher
I am well over 40 and became a lifetime weight watcher in 1979. I maintained several years however for the last couple of decades have lost as much as 50 pounds but always gained weight back. I hit my peak weight of 216 in 2006. I vowed to to stay with the program until I reached goal again. I came within 30 pounds of my…

Former Weight Watchers
I would especially like to hear from former Weight Watchersone of the skills I've learned from that organization is pre tracking. Feel free to send friend requests

Mid week weigh in
Normally I only record my weight on Monday mornings but I cheated a little this week only because I was bloated to the gills after Thursday's feast and I needed some encouragement. Anyway it's my journey and my rules. As a side note I would especially like to friend former long term Weight Watchers. I learned a lot from…

Post holiday binging.
I'm doing pretty well during the day but then end up pigging out at. I think it is early holiday stress.
