I have run day 1 of week 8 three times this week. I still can't do all 28 minutes without stopping. If I walk a few minutes, I can run and finish all 28. Im just over 2 weeks in. Doing n.r.o.l.w. 3x a week and c25k 3x a week. Eating 2000-2300 calories daily. Going by nrolw, my non workout calories should be at 2076 and at 2336 on workout days. Subtracting 15% for weight loss would be 1765 and 1986, which I will round up to 1800 and 2000 for ease. completed my first 5k!
I ran in the iron woman 5k in Clearwater on Sunday. It was my first, and I finished in 34:28. That's 3 minutes faster than my practice time! I am looking for some input from you all. I have the option of two different gyms. One I have been to a lot, and loved it. It is however, pricey. Do you just want to lose weight, or be in great shape, or get healthy? Or is there another motivator? Mine is to lose weight and get very strong.
