Hi there! Day 9 for me. Im also intermittently fasting to get my insulin resistance under control. Im eating closer to the no-carb diet than low carb though. The first 3 or 4 days were hard, but its easy now. Need to find some new recipes though...

Cute workout clothes or workout gear in general seems to be a trend with me. Im thinking about a spa day though. Im in terrible need of a massage.😊 And I also keep a sexy outfit hanging in the closet for motivation, so when I hit a goal, I get to wear it.

This was awesome! I used a scoop of body fortress plant protein vanilla, with an egg, baking powder and oat milk. Also added a dash of cinnamon. Came out great. 4 mile walk/jog followed by a TON of walking lunges (around 100, I believe). My legs are NOT HAPPY. But you know what they say..... You cant get a nice booty by sitting on it! B)

For me, you practice what you preach. Now if said trainer or nutritionist had a baby recently or was coming off an injury, and was easing back in and getting the weight off, no problem. For whatever reason, a lot of women want to look like 12 year old girls whos thighs dont touch when they walk. I dont get it. Id rather have thicker thighs than chicken legs. I dont think they realize that its how your built, not necessarily how skinny you are....

Here's one im going to try.... mix chobani and ovaltine (milk chocolate flavor) with a little peanut butter. Squirt small drops onto baking sheet and freeze. Yum!

^^^ I understand your point about not taking the b.m.I. scale as gospel, but under 100 lbs for someone almost 5 and a 1/2 feet tall is too low, no matter what the b.m.I. scale says.

Not getting enough food can definitely keep you awake. Sounds like you need to A-eat more, B-burn less, or C-dont work out too close to bedtime. Maybe all three.

Weight lifting has more of a caloric afterburn than cardio. You wont get bulky lifting heavy because you lack the necessary hormones. I run alone or pushing my 19 month old in his stroller. While I make sure to stay on high traffic trails , I can't take the chance that someone or something would attack us. There's no way I could hit my protein macros without protein powder. I drink 2-3 shakes a day. It can be great for getting that extra protein, as long as you find a good brand.
