I guess I just lost our walking route in my neighborhood. Some creepers just moved in, and apparently have taken me into their sites. I was pushing my son in his stroller and walking my dogs when I hear.someone saying something from a shaded porch to my left. It wasn't very loud, so I figured they were talking to someone in the house. On my way back about 10 minutes later, I hear some super creepy weird singing. I was so creeped out that I didn't even look over. I am so glad I brought my dogs with me. I was going to leave them home. Im not sure what the guy said to me the first time, but for some reason it sounded like he was picking a fight with me. Weirdo. Next time I will let my dogs off leash to meet him in person. It would be kinda funny to watch him mess his pants when 200lbs of dog comes charging.

Maybe ill just have my husband have a "chat" with them.

Time to start carrying my gun again.....

Wait, I'm confused...which one is supposed to be the wacko?

    (1) The person who is gonna start carrying a gun, letting their 200 lb dog terrorize the neighborhood, and have their husband threaten a neighbor,

    OR

    (2) The guy who stayed on his front porch on his own property?

Definately don't go that way again if you are uncomfortable, too many people ignore their built in survival instincts....but you gotta admit any of the actions you listed would not sound very good on People's Court..

Kinda agree with this, on the basis of this one instance, anyway. Might not have been talking to you at all, might be harmless. Might have just been grouchy and talking to himself. I agree with the instinct thing, too, though. I feel sad for you that you no longer feel comfortable walking in your own neighborhood.

Wow. Not the respon:noway: se I thought id hear from the mfp crowd!

I was actually kidding about carrying my gun. And NO, I wouldn't turn my dogs loose on someone unless they directly threatened my son.

Some people need a sense of humor.:noway:

I'm guessing #1 is the wacko.

OP - Perhaps there is even an outside chance that they weren't talking to you at all? Perhaps you're just hearing things? Or perhaps you just want to hear things to justify the wacko behavior listed in item #1 above?

Even when you add smiley faces the message sometimes is lost, its just the curse of Internet communications

I still say hooray for you for listening to your inner voice...if the situation made you feel creeped out, there probably was a reason and you are smart to acknowledge it.

I personally totally understood your situation! Sometimes I'll end up in areas that show me their dark sides. I've had random guys try to pick me up about 10 times in my life. Sometimes they exposed themselves, sometimes I was followed. I've had catcalls and yells. Seriously people underestimate the good/bad ratio out there!

Its possible that he wasn't referring to you, but you never know! In my experience you can usually tell by the tone when they are acting that way. :(

I also understood your sarcasm! It wouldn't make any sense for you to take your dogs or gun back there just to take care of the bad guy!!!

Like they said, take another route and keep giving those doggies some exercise! "D
