T-25 or Tabatta
At the ripe, old age of 48 I have been advised by my doctor that is might not be a good idea to be doing "pounding" exercises, i.e constant jumping, like in Tabatta or T-25. What is a low impact, H.I.I.T. ??

Anyone hung up on "TARGET WEIGHT" recommendations?
I am 5'6 and weigh 161 lbs. I was in really great shape last summer, which I weighed 156 lbs. My measurements were: Bust: 38 Waist: 30.5 Hips: 38 According to Weight Watchers Height/Weight ratio, I was still "overweight". Therefore, my goal was to get to 150 pounds. I could NOT do it. I was not willing to starve myself and…

Weight Gain and Age
My weight has gone like this: In my 20's I weighed 128 to 135. In my 30's I weighed 146 to 152. I quit smoking when I was 37 and in my 40's my weight has 157 to 168. I have worked out on and off my whole life. When I smoked, drank and partied - I weighed less. I also have always had a sedentary job so I know that doesn't…

PLATEAU - do I need a reset?
Okay - I took an inventory of my gross calories for the past 8 weeks. Here are my figures: I average 1638 per day, I average 376 in exercise. This leaves me a net of 1262 calories. TDEE - is the calculation accurate??
I've had a MIO Petite fitness watch and have been calculating my calories off of this watch. If I was burning what the watch says, I would be losing over a pound a week. I haven't lost anything in 5 weeks. I upped my calories 2 weeks ago to my BMR and then eat back my exercise calories and still - no change. My trainer…

Yes or NO
I have watched the EM2WL video and forum topics. I'm not sure if I fit this group. I do not starve myself. Although I do exercise almost everyday, I average 1300 to 1400 calories, some days less, some more. Obviously, if I do 700 calories of exercise, I eat more that day. According to EM2WL, I am not losing weight because…

Calories Cycling??
Does this work with the "eat to lose" philiosophy. I averaged out my calories for the last two weeks. I ate: 1646 calories Exercise: 2 days a week of hard core circuit training 60 minutes. Cardio: Stairstepper once a week Walking: 30 minutes 5 days a week. So, my exercise calories average 350 per day Leaves me a net of…

Does anyone really lose a pound a week, every week?
I am 46 yrs old. 5'6 and 157 lbs. I would LOVE to lose a steady pound per week but I only do that the first month of a diet then I only lose about 2 lbs per month. I average 1600 calories with approx. 400 calories of exercise. Should I be eating more or less or just be glad I'm losing.
