Another Box Jump Thread
Question for the group: When doing box jumps, do you count step ups as a “box jump?” We had a WOD with sets of 30 box jumps. Everyone else went to step ups straight away. I only got through two sets before timing out, but I jumped up each time.

Any thoughts on what they’ll program for 15.2? I’m sure my box will program it as a part of the Friday WOD, so I may end up doing it off the books. I have a tough mudder on Saturday, so I might skip the Friday WOD if it is too extreme.

Improving Stamina
So, my body (minus the body fat) is built for sprints (short bursts of power), which makes me able to gain strength and put on muscle mass relatively easily. Week of January 19th Goals

Crossfit for the Traveler
I've made the comittment to join a box near my home and at the very least get through a solid foundations course. I travel a lot (work and personal). I was wondering if any of you have done much "walk in" workouts at boxes when you're away from your home. Experiences? Things I should look for/avoid/etc? Thanks!

Crossfit and IF
I'm curious if anyone in this group is also doing Intermittent Fasting. I'm do my CF WODs at 5am MWF. My IF is eating in a window from 12 - 7pm. My reason for all this is to cut fat and maintain muscle mass. I'd like to drop 8 - 10lbs of fat by mid-May. Thoughts?

Best Shoes For Crossfit?
I'm just getting started and was wondering what shoes you'd recommend. I'm currently using my New Balance running/cross-trainers, which focus on stability. I'm not sure these will serve me well for most WODs. BTW, I have wide feet.
