Why am I not losing weight?
I've been tracking for two-three weeks, and have starting exercising again in the past week. I've not been perfect, but have been in calorie deficit overall... Calories burned/earned in Week 1
Hi guys - I did run2 of week 1 today. Felt good! I'm using the Endomondo app to keep note of the distances etc, and it also calculates calories. It says I did 344 calories though, which seems high for 18 mins brisk walking and 8 mins of fairly gentle jogging. What do people think? THanks, Helen.

Freezing premade pies
I've got a recipe for minced beef and onions pies that I want to try, which uses pizza base mix in place of pastry. Blisters from rowing machine
Evening all, Does anyone know a way to prevent blisters when using the rowing machine? I love this piece of equipment, by far and away my favourite thing, but the callouses I get at the bases of my third and fourth fingers are really painful! Any tips? Thanks, Helen.

Eep, I just joined the gym!
Well, I just joined the gym for the first time in about five years. I don't have my induction until next Monday, but I'm still allowed to use the equipment 'that I'm comfortable with'. There's also a pool and classes so will try and get some of them in. I'm quite nervous! xx

Week 1 result
Well, I got to the end of my first week on MFP and I lost 4.5 lbs! I'm so pleased :-) A little bit of a shame that my tracker won't show half lbs, but there we go... I also just did Wk 1 Day 1 of C25k and it was hard, but I've done it before (did a 5k in 40 mins last summer) so I'll stick at it. Have a great day everyone.…

What was for lunch?
I just had a salad of lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, coleslaw (there wasn't too much mayonnaise but it probably wasn't low fat), cannelini beans and sliced cold beef. Finished off with a bag of sweet&salt popcorn, very yummy! All for 379 kcal. Helen.
