How do you keep yourself motivated?

I jogged my first mile!
Today, I went to the gym and hopped on the treadmill, eventually getting up to my 4.5 mph. My first mile!
So today, I jogged my first mile ever in my life! It wasn't fast (4mph, 15min mile) but I did it! I've never been able to jog longer than maybe 5 minutes on a good day, but after a long day at work on my feet, I did it I did it!! :happy: :happy:

Burn more calories in the heat?
Just out of curiosity, when it's hot out do you burn more calories than if you go to the gym to do the same thing? Like if I walk on the track outside when it's 95 degrees, does it burn more than if I walk on the treadmill at my climate controlled gym?
