Wanted: Recipe for Healthy Choice Apple dessert
I love, Love, LOVE the apple dessert in the Healthy Choice meals. Does anyone have any idea what the recipe might be? Or something similar? Obviously I'm hoping for a healthy-ish, low-calorie recipe. Heavy on the apples, light on the sugar or whatever... Bonus points if it's easy!! I'm not much of a cook.

You: weight lost = running comfortable/fun?
Pre-story: I previously lost about 85 lbs and then (sadly!) re-gained about half of that weight again. I'm making another go at losing weight, and I currently weight 214. I noticed during my previous weight-loss streak that I came to a particular weight where suddenly I found it to be much, MUCH more comfortable to run.…

Starting (over) today!
Ok! I'm going to give this another try, starting today! I had a lot of success in the past (lost > 80 lbs), but it's been rocky, lately (have regained about half of that, in fits and spurts in combination with re-losing some). So I've "reset" my starting weight to today's weight (by adding a bogus weight entry (with…

2 new victories
2014 has been a rough year for me, weight-wise. I got to a great low-point on the scale in January/February/March, but then I went kind of up and down several times (mostly up) until about August. In September, I finally admitted to myself that I really truly couldn't fit into the jeans I had bought in January (which were…

Half-way (-65lbs) AND Onederland! (w/ pics)
This morning, I woke up and saw this: Yay! So I'm simultaneously half-way to my goal weight AND officially in Onederland! :) Starting stats: 265lbs, tight 22W jeans or 24W jeans, 2X or 3X shirts, 44DD bra, size 10.5 ring. (and 5'6" tall) I started tracking calories and going to the gym on St. Patrick's day (3-17-13).…

Had a headache --> Took a walk...
I think I must have eaten too many calories at lunch, today. A couple hours later, I got a headache. The headache sensation reminded me of getting a "sugar headache" like I used to get all the time before dieting with MFP. (Or, at least, I have always attributed those headaches to sugar in the past... but I'm not really…

NSV - Sunroof and Perseid meteor shower
As I discovered last night at 2:30am, I can now fit through the sunroof of my car. hehe. :) I stood on the center armrest thing and slipped through the sunroof to watch the Perseid meteor shower, last night. I used to watch the stars while sitting on the center armrest, and just peaking my head out - because I was too big…

This is getting hard
I've had some strong upper-abdominal pain three times in the last month, and I just found out I have some gallstones. (I've heard that sometimes they can be caused by rapid weight loss --don't know how much that factors in, for me). And TMI, but I probably have constipation issues, too. Mostly, my quandary is that since I…

quick weight loss and gallstones - anyone?
I'm curious if the upper abdominal pain I've had three times in the last month might be a gallstone. I've lost about 57 lbs in about 20 weeks. I was googling this morning and saw that there seems to be a correlation between rapid weight loss and developing gallstones. (In particular, I found this testimonial:…

NSV - favorite purple tank top: now smaller!
Hi! I love reading everyone's NSV's. So I though I'd post a couple of my own, today. 1. I've learned to really appreciate my sewing machine! In the past week, I've been making several shirts smaller by taking in the sides. Here's my favorite purple tank top, AND the inches I cut off from each side, this morning: I'm…

Question about "getting your metabolism going"
Hi, all. I can't count how many times I've heard someone say "You should eat breakfast because it gets your metabolism going". Usually they say this as a tip for losing weight. And I think they mean if I just sit around all day doing nothing. I have never had any biology classes, so I'm probably quite uninformed about…

S. Korea for 2.5 weeks - no MFP. Advice?
Hi, all. I've been using MFP for a little over 2 months, and have been doing quite well, so far. I almost always log everything I eat. But I'm going on vacation to S. Korea for two and a half weeks, and won't be able to use MFP regularly (or, at least, I won't know how many calories to put in, even if I have wifi access,…
