I've had zero, yes zero Internet for the last week or so! But I'm back online now and happy to report that my fresh start is still going well. I even managed to be good over the long weekend away I just had! Hope you're all still going strong! x

I finally have a normal bmi!!! and now I'm a bit confused...
So finally! Hooray! my bmi is now under 25 and in the normal range (down from 30 at the beginning of the year). Whoop whoop!!! C25k week 6 day 1...... why was it so hard??
After very excitedly completing the 20 min run last week, I smugly thought to myself that today would be a walk in the park (run 5 mins, walk 3, run 8, walk 3, run 5). Oh how wrong I was.... that was HARD!!!! Literally halfway through the second interval I very nearly gave up. What's going on?????

I was DREADING it! But..... I did it!!!!!! and I feel SO proud of myself. Just can't believe that I, the girl who has never been able to run for more than 1 minute, can now run for 20 whole minutes!!!!! Wooooo hooooooo!!!

I never really pay too much attention to nutrient goals (other than calories!) but have noticed lately that I seem to do better in terms of weight loss and feeling less bloated when mydiety is more protein based. does quality of food make a difference to weight loss?
I know a calorie is a calorie but just wondering if anyone has noticed a difference when they use their calories in the most healthy way (fruit, veg etc) rather than just using them however they like?
