"Changing up" your exercises
I know they say your body gets used to the same exercises and it becomes less effective. Well when I weight train, I always do deadlifts, squats and lunges. Does this mean my body will "get used to" these moves and it will no longer benefit me as much?

Barbell glute bridge hurting back and hips
I just started doing barbell glute bridges. ..I bought a barbell pad and everything. It hurts my lower back when I am doing them, and my hip bones because the barbell is right on them....is this normal? Is there a way to make it less painful?

Would I be wasting my time using less weights?
I use a barbell for my lower body. I do deadlifts, squats and lunges. Pretty high weights maybe 70-90 pounds depending upon the exercise. So if I were to change it up and do kettlebell squats or something using less weights, would I be making less progress? It's just there is only so much you can do with a barbell and I…

Exercising twice in one day
No I am not trying to over exercise or anything. I know it's unhealthy to exercise too much. But what if I do a cardio session and later on weight training in the same day. That is 2 exercises in the same day, although they are different forms of exercise. Is this a healthy thing to do? I find that sometimes when I miss…

Question about women losing fat/building muscle
I know in order to see muscles and the results of weight lifting you need to lose fat. But how come I have seen "thicker" women (not heavy by any means but just a thicker build) look toned and shapely? I thought in order to look "toned", you needed to lose fat and get trim...but i have seen thicker women look toned and…

Whats your take on fruit (sugar)?
I've always believed that anything from the earth is a good food to have. But I am always hearing that sugar is the enemy with weight loss and this INCLUDES fruit. Is this the truth? I just don't see how natural sugars from the earth could really be that bad for you. I am confused on this matter.

Concerned about blackstrap molasses sugar/calorie content
I have been reading about the amazing health benefits of blackstrap molasses. I could possibly be anemic and they say this is a great remedy for iron deficiencies. Problem is I am on a mission to lose weight and build muscle and I am trying to have as little sugar in my diet as possible. I know molasses has added sugar and…

My dummbells are too heavy but I still want to use them
I bought 20 pound dumbbells for upper body. What happens is I can do 1 set of 8. The next set I can only do 5. The last set I can only do 3. People say if this happens your weight is too heavy. I want to continue to lift heavy though. Is there a good solution to this? If I continues to lift in this way would it be okay?

Should I trust a grocery store scale?
So I went to the food store and saw one of those blood pressure machines. It has this new feature where it can weigh you at the same time. At home I weight around 136 lbs, but this was weighing me 145 lbs! Granted, it was the end of the day and I had my shoes on etc, but I just wanted to know if these scales are very…

Should I exercise tonight??
A day ago I pulled my back muscles doing a deadlift. While I'd say I feel about 80% better, I am not sure if I should weight train tonight. I feel like I could but I am afraid if I'm not fully healed it will worsen the situation. I am being overly cautious so I'm not sure what to do.
