I have been reading about the amazing health benefits of blackstrap molasses. I could possibly be anemic and they say this is a great remedy for iron deficiencies. Problem is I am on a mission to lose weight and build muscle and I am trying to have as little sugar in my diet as possible. I know molasses has added sugar and calories that I'm not sure is worth it. I don't want anything to sabotage my weight loss journey. What do you guys think?

    Molasses comes from sugar cane.

If you want to make room for it in your daily plan, take out some other carb or sugar (fruit or bread for example).

Sugar in any form doesn't sabotage weight loss. And hate to break it to you, it's unlikely you'll be doing much recomping.

You do know carbs are sugars, right?

And lol at the above link.
